Sagar Watch News/ Today, news is not presented as it appears. It is appropriate to express the truth with authenticity. Narad Ji has set an example before us as an ideal for information. He used to meet people of opposite ideologies and provide real information. These views were expressed by Dainik Bhaskar Bhopal editor Rajesh Sharma during his speech in a program organized here in connection with Devrishi Narad Jayanti.

At the beginning of the program, Professor Manisha Sharma explained in her speech how journalism played a special role in the Indian freedom movement. Indian journalism kept the independent spirit alive. 

She underlined the objectives and trends of journalism before independence by drawing light on the role of newspapers like Hindustan, Kesari, Aaj, Bharat Mitra, Yugantar, etc. 

She said that today there is a need for media inspired by nationalism, imbibing the qualities of Devrishi Narad, and doing value-based journalism.

In his address, special guest Rajkumar Khatri expressed his views regarding the challenges of current journalism and presenting news to society with complete authenticity.

In his speech, Provincial Publicity Chief Vinod said that in the history of independent India, those who invoke the Constitution made full efforts to crush journalism by imposing the emergency in 1975. They put journalists in jail and snatched away any freedom of speech and writing during the emergency.

At the beginning of the program organized on Narad Jayanti by Devrishi Narad Jayanti Samaroh Manch, guests garlanded and lit lamps on the pictures of Bharat Mata and Narad ji. 

Chief guest senior journalist Rajesh Sharma, keynote speaker Professor Manisha Sharma Dean Vocational Education Faculty Journalism and Mass Communication Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Amarkantak, special guest Mr. Rajkumar Khatri Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sagar were present in the program.

The program was conducted by Anshul Bhargava and Rambabu Rawat expressed his gratitude. Dr. GS Choubey, Dhirendra Mishra, Anil Awasthi and other people associated with RSS and journalists were present in the program.

Sagar Watch/ A festival like Diwali is to be celebrated in Sagar Nagar on the day of the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram on 22 January in Ayodhya. For which the women of the National Livelihood Mission Self Help Group are going to every ward and motivating the common citizens to light lamps and burst fireworks at the entrance of every house and shop. She is also requesting to celebrate the death anniversary of Lord Ram in a dignified manner by making rangoli in the courtyard of the house.

She is contacting door to door to welcome Lord Shri Ram by singing auspicious songs at the time of Pran Pratistha in temples and homes. Local citizens and women are also participating in it and are taking pledge to celebrate the Pran Pratistha ceremony with dignity.

The Municipal Commissioner has called for organizing paintings, crafts, small tableaus, spiritual and cultural discussions, dance dramas and bhajan evenings related to Shri Ram-Janaki at public places and intersections in the ward with the help of local artists and institutions.

Apart from this, discussions on the events of Shri Ram in higher education institutions, staging of plays on important events of Shri Ram Katha at important places with the help of the district administration, cleanliness in all public toilets and pruning of plants have been asked. He said that all the events will be based on zero waste concept with complete ban on single use plastic, polythene etc.

Sagar Watch/ In the third and last day program of the Dohela Festival to be held at Khurai, Sagar on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, famous playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee 'Shaan', forced the audience to swing with his songs. 

Especially when the film Fana's song 'Chand sifarish Jo Karta  Hamari ...', the whole fort grounds echoed with a thunderous applause. Shaan "Behti Hawa sa Tha Wo of tha" film three Idiot, when he sung ...  the audience became emotional. 

in this connection, Shan recited many of his early and latest films Songs including "Premratan Dhan Payo', 'Om Shanti Om". Singer Shan also recited Rama in the song Awadh mein ram aye hain regarding consecration of Shri Ram temple.

Sagar Wacth/ The three-day Khurai Mahotsav (Dohela Mahotsav) of Khurai will be inaugurated on 15th January, on the day of Makar Sankranti. In this festival organized every year by Khurai MLA Bhupendra Singh, on the first day on January 15, Bollywood playback singer Nikhita Gandhi and her team will give their cultural presentations on this stage of Khurai.

On the first day, at 9 am, Saroj Singh will reach Dohela temple and perform puja and anointment of Lord Shiva. Thereafter Prasad will be distributed.

The cultural evening of the first day of Khurai Mahotsav will be inaugurated at Kila Ground at 6 pm in the presence of MP Rajbahadur Singh, former minister Bhupendra Singh and distinguished citizens of Khurai. After the formal function, playback singer Nikhita Gandhi and her team will present their captivating music.

Anveshan's New Drama "Aari Bau Kabai Baj Hai Ramatula?"

SAGAR WATCH/ Artists of Anveshan Theater Group, today and tomorrow at the local Rabindra Bhavan from seven in the evening, will perform Bundeli farce-style comedy-drama "Aari Bau Kabai Baj Hai Ramatula?"  

In this play, on the one hand, where the traditional marriages of Bundelkhand and the circumstances arising out of them have been cooked in a syrup of humour and sarcasm, on the other hand, some evils inherent in these traditions have also been pointed out.

It has also been told through many circumstances in the play that life is not just the name of happiness, but the definition of life is complete by mixing both happiness and sorrow and this is also the reality.

Traditional Bundeli wedding songs and other songs have also been given a place in the play. Bundeli songs have been adapted into the play by rendering them live from the stage. The play has been written and directed by Jagdish Sharma. The play has a cast of about twenty actors.

Knowledge of music also necessary to enhance Theatrical performance

SAGAR WATCH/For a good actor, knowledge of music is also necessary to enhance his performance. In the 30-day National Theater Workshop organized under the joint aegis of Rang Theater Forum Sagar and National School of Drama, Delhi, the participants are learning the nuances of theater as well as music.

Rang director Manish Bohre told that along with Anant Gundeja, who has come from Bhopal, in a three-hour class every day from 10 am to 1 pm, the participants are being taught the ascension of voices, riyaz of sargam as well as some traditional bandishes easily.

According to Mr. Bohre, Anant Gundeja is the son of Padma Shri late Shri Ramakant Gundicha. Who is continuously taking forward his musical heritage and giving presentations of Dhrupad singing in the country and abroad with his elder father Umakant Gundeja.

Album Release Ceremony-Ghazal is a musical form of literature

SAGAR WATCH/ Shambhavi Creative Foundation Delhi and Shyamalam Sagar Ghazal album Justju was released under joint auspices. The 6 ghazals of the released Ghazal album have been written by Dr. Manish Jha, a well-known doctor of the city and it has been composed and sung by the country's famous and Banaras Gharana singer artist Brijesh Mishra.

Glimpses of the videos of the main ghazals of the album were shown at the beginning of the programme. Which was thoroughly enjoyed by the music lovers present.

Musician Arun Palnitkar, who was the chief guest of the programme, told that direct does not require proof. Brijesh's singing was heart touching. Tone is important in singing. Ghazal is a musical form of literature. Adding music to the ghazal makes it comprehensive. Literature and music have a positive impact on the society.

In the question session organized during the program, music coordinator and singer Brijesh Mishra shared his experiences on classical music, bhajan, thumri. In this connection, the author of the album Dr. Manish Jha shared interesting stories related to Ghazal writing.

The stage was operated by Shubham Upadhyay and Amit Mishra.  Namrata Pimpalpure, Hari Shula, Santosh Pathak and Kapil Baisakhia read out the welcome and felicitation letter to the guests. Ramakant Mishra expressed gratitude.

Mementos were presented to the guests by Shyamalam President Umakantamishra and Shambhavi Shula Mishra, President of Shambhavi Creative Foundation. The video producer of Justju Ghazal album is Siddharth Shankar Shukla.

Meanwhile, during the release of Ghazal album Sudesh Tiwari, Govind Sarvaiya, Shailendra Thakur, Vinod Arya, Rajesh Srivastava Brahm Dutt Dubey, Shrikant Tripathi, Dr. Yogesh Dutt Tiwari and prominent journalists associated with electronic and print media of the city were present.

NATIONAL THEATRE WORKSHOP- To provide youths serious training of theatre

SAGAR WATCH/ National School of Drama Delhi in association with Rang Theater Forum Sagar is going to organize 30 days National Theater Workshop. This national workshop, which is going to start from 27 February, will continue till 27 March.

From across the country, 380 participants applied for the Rang workshop. Out of which 20 participants were selected. For the next 30 days, these participants will understand and learn the nuances of theatre in a very disciplined environment with eminent theatre workers of Indian theatre.

The main purpose of organizing such workshops is to make the talents of the small and big cities of the country away from Delhi aware of the very conscious and serious training of theatre so that the talented youth can understand the comprehensive training of theatre.

In this workshop, the participants will understand the four types of acting according to the Indian theatre tradition - Angik, Bachik, Satvik and Aharik as well as modern colour traditions.

The workshop training will be based on a thorough, comprehensively planned curriculum. In which every aspect of theatre is included. A skit will also be prepared during the training. Whose performance will be in front of the audience at the end of the workshop.

Significantly, the National School of Drama Delhi is one of the leading theatre training institutes in the world, established in 1959 by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. In 1975, it became an independent body.

Fully funded by the Ministry of Culture, this institute has given the country and the world well-known actors and theatre gurus, including Ompuri, Nasruddin Shah, Govind Namdev, Bansi Kaul, Ratan Thiyam, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi and many eminent personalities. This institute has an incomparable contribution in acting as well as theatre training.

The organizing body Rang Theater Forum Sagar is a group of progressive artists in various fields of art. Rang Theater Forum was established in 2010. In 2016, it was declared repertory by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Since its inception, the institution has carved a niche for itself in the regional theatre by staging plays of various socio-political interests. 

Rang Theater Forum is an organization committed to aesthetically innovative and socially relevant theatre. The aim of theatre for the organization is to sensitize the audience to contemporary issues and create a dialogue on prevalent social problems.

The eastern productions of Rang Theater Forum are A Clock-Work Orange, Hori, Dak Ghar, Dedh Inch Upar, Giddha, Anji, Innocent Erindra, Raga Darwari etc.

Get overwhelming response for the audition

Sagar Watch/ Under the joint aegis of the National School of Drama Delhi and Rang Theater Forum Sagar, a drama workshop is being organized from 27 February to 27 March. Auditions are over for this 30-day workshop. 

In the workshop participants came from Sagar, Indore, Bhopal, Shajapur, and Damoh from Madhya Pradesh. On February 19, 130 online and offline auditions of about 50 participants were taken.

Sangeet Srivastava, secretary of Rang Theater Forum and camp director of Rang workshop, said that a total of 350 forms have been received for the theatre workshop.

The selected participants will be taught the nuances of theatre from February 27 for one month by the current teachers and alumni of the National School of Drama, Delhi.

The selection list will be released on social media. Director of Rang Theater Forum, Manish Bohre told that at the end of the workshop, a 3-day theatre festival will be organized.

In which three plays will be presented. Seeing the interest of the youth in the field of theatre in Sagar, we will try to organize a big workshop every year for one month in Sagar.

In which senior and famous coloured workers of the country will be invited. So that the young artists of Sagar can get a chance to learn the nuances of theatre.

Bharat Rang Mahotsav

SAGAR WATCH/ National School of Drama (NSD) will organize the 22nd edition of the Bharat Rang Mahotsav(BRM), (BRM), 2023 from 16th to 26th February 2023. The prestigious international theatre festival will be held in Delhi, Jaipur, Rajahmundry, Ranchi, Guwahati, Jammu, Srinagar, Bhopal, Nashik and Kevadia. The closing ceremony will be in Kevadia on the 26th of February.

The 22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav will embrace an exuberant display of plays and cultural performances, and multiple thematic panel discussions of the global and strategic importance of theatre in global perspective. 

Theatre is the oldest and most effective form of art traditions for communicating human emotions in a way that transcends from older times to the present era.

Briefing the media in the NSD premises in Delhi, today, Director, NSD, Prof (Dr) Ramesh Chandra Gaur,  informed that in the present edition of BRM, “We have scrutinised a list of top-notch plays, selecting from 960 submissions, including international entries. 

Delhi is hosting 10 traditional performances in this festival. The Institution seeks to nurture the growth of new folk talents through the platform of the 22nd BRM.So we have managed to accommodate as many young theatre aficionados as possible.”

Dr Ramesh also said that collaboration has been made with the institutes in the different states in which the plays will be held. This will ensure that local artists are involved and the plays attract the local populace.

The director informed that along with the plays, there will be other allied activities like launching books, Director’s meet, National & International Seminar and Master class by the stalwarts from the field of the theatre community.

With over 100 theatre companies attending the festival annually, the Bharat Rang Mahotsav has carved a niche for itself. 

He also informed that it is a one-of-a-kind theatre fair featuring live theatre as well as exhibitions, Director’s - audience conversations, symposiums, and seminar programmes on various theatre-related topics.

The Bharat Rang Mahotsav aims to strengthen international tie-ups and cultural exchange programmes with other Nations. 

It builds a platform to explore more about the theatre traditions across the country. Not just artists, but also the noted directors will be attending the grand festival. 

The National School of Drama had last organized Bharat Rang Mahotsav in July 2022 under the "Azadi Segment" of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to commemorate and pay its tribute to the martyrs of our motherland.

Yuva Utsav- Sagar Universtity grabbed first position in the folk orchestra

Sagar Watch/ Prof. Nilima Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of Dr Harisingh Gour University addressed the participants and winners of Madhya Kshetra Yuva Utsav. He expressed confidence that the winning participants would bring laurels to the university by reaching the national level and winning.

It is noteworthy that a 42-member cultural troupe of Western University, participating in the 5-day long 36th Inter-University Central Zone Youth Festival organized at AKS University, Satna, secured a place in the National Youth Festival by winning in 4 categories.

Dr Rakesh Soni, the coordinator of the University's Cultural Council, said that the University's cultural troupe participated in 26 genres of dance, theatre, music, fine arts and literature.

Out of which the team won the overall championship in theatrical genres along with first in the cultural rally, second in one act, and second in the skit. 

Along with this, he got the first position in the folk orchestra, fourth in group Indian singing, fifth in solo classical recital, third in henna, and fifth in Prashna Manch. 

On the basis of marks obtained in the competition of all disciplines, the university secured the fourth position in the overall championship. 

Dr Rakesh Soni and Yash Srivastava were included in the team as the team in charge. The winning participants of Drama, Skit, Folk Orchestra and Mehndi will represent the University in the National Inter University Youth Festival to be held at Jain University, Bangalore from 24-28 February.

Dohela Festival-Asees Kaur's scintillating performance Mesmerised audience

Sagar Watch/ The three-day Dohela Festival came to an end with a scintillating performance by noted playback singer Asees Kaur. From next year, the Dohela festival will be five days instead of three. Singer Asees Kaur began her performance with "Ankh Lad Jaawe". 

She sang her famous film songs like - Badi kathin hai dagar panghat ki, Gum hai, Jugini ji and Raatan Lambiyan Lambiyan. The musical journey was accompanied by kirtans and musical accompaniment from Guru Granth Sahib. The voice of Asees Kaur, who starts singing, is very sweet.

On this occasion, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that 1 lakh 61 thousand likes on Twitter and trending of Dohela Mahotsav from number one to number four on Twitter shows that this event has become the cultural identity of Khurai. 

This tradition should be more prosperous and economic activities should also be added to it, only for this it will be made five days from next time. of Khurai.

Dohela Festival- Sonu Nigam's live concert make audience crazy

Sagar Watch/ The first pride day of Khurai Nagar was celebrated on the second day of the Dohela Festival. On this occasion, a live concert of the country's famous singer Sonu Nigam took place. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh felicitated 20 such celebrities of the city on Gaurav Diwas, who made remarkable contributions in the cultural and social development of Khurai.

On Gaurav Divas, 8 roads of Khurai Nagar, sewer line project and approval of Rs 310 crore for other development works were also announced from the platform.

Minister Mr. Singh said that Khurai's pride day gives us an opportunity to express our gratitude towards the soil of our city and take a pledge of dedication towards our native land. It is the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the pride day of every town and village should be celebrated.

Dohela Festival-Bollywood artists will make the festival colorful

Sagar Watch/ Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh will inaugurate the three-day Dohela Festival of Khurai on January 14, the day of Sankranti. The evening of the first day of the festival will be marked by cultural programs by Bollywood playback singer, and two-time Filmfare awardee Mohit Chauhan and his team.

The cultural evening of the first day of Dohela Mahotsav will begin at 5 pm at Qila Maidan. After the formal ceremony, playback singer Mohit Chauhan and his team will present their mesmerizing music. 

Minister Mr Singh has requested the citizens of the Khurai assembly constituency to enjoy cultural programmes, fireworks displays, fairs, festivals, shopping, and delicacies on all three days.

It is noteworthy that Khurai has been decorated for the Dohela festival. Markets decorated with various goods, clothes, utensils, sports toys, and haats filled with materials of women's self-help groups have been set up in the market premises.

Rahas-Mela-Aajeevika-Mission-in-MP-has-brought-a-big-change-Minister

SagarWatch@   Self Help Group have brought about a sea change in the lives of our mothers & Sisters and they are becoming financially empowered. Also, our daughters act as bridges to handle two families. Express the above idea by the Public Works Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Shri Gopal Bhargava, on the fourth day of the Rahas Mela, at the Women Empowerment Conference, through the Ajinkika Mission.

Minister Shri Bhargava said at the Women's Empowerment Conference that education is the basic mantra to fight poverty, teach the daughters because, from education itself, the spirit of health awareness and self-reliance is developed in the daughters. Aajeevika Mission in Madhya Pradesh has brought a big change in the lives of women. Women are becoming self-sufficient with the help of the mission. At the same time, their thinking has also changed.

A loan amount of crores of rupees has been disbursed to the self-help groups. 27,500 families have been connected in 245 villages to the livelihood mission. In the same Rahas fair,3 years before, Governor Anandiben distributed sanitary pads to mother-in-law daughters-in-law. This is the first example of distribution across the country. Now this is the era of female awakening. Women are not backward. Women have to become self-sufficient.

In the program, Minister Bhargava distributed the amount of loan approval to women groups. CIF 1 crore rupees, bank linkage 2 crore rupees, 10 lakh revolving fund, 300 livestock, distributed loan checks to self-help women groups including 10 street vendor beneficiaries. District Manager Aajeevika Mission Harish Dubey presented the departmental report.

Street-Play-are-being-organised-to-enhance-cleanliness-awarness-among-public

SagarWatch@  A message of cleanliness awareness was given by the Rang Theater Forum on Saturday under the Cleanliness Survey 2021 by performing street plays at Civil Line Chandra Park. SagarWatch@ The drama Gagan Damama Bajyo is being presented by Ravan Films in the Golden Jubilee Auditorium of Sagar University on 23 March 2019 to commemorate Martyrdom Day. Which will be staged by the team of Third Eye Performers and Studio Anshte under the Cultural Council, Dr Harisingh Gaur University Sagar "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat".

Rishank Tiwari, the play's presenter and founder of Ravan Films, said that through the play, along with the introduction of commercial theatre in Sagar, the artists have tried to provide facilities at the national level during the process. He told that Sagar is the ocean of arts, but for the preservation and promotion of arts, such an event is very important.

All the actors of the play are university students and alumni. The play is based on Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru and other freedom struggle revolutionaries as well as throws light on Bhagat Singh's vision of Azad India. A poster of its play was launched.

The play is authored by film and theatre actor Piyush Mishra, an alumnus of the National School of Drama and directed by Aditya Nirmalkar, an alumnus of theatre from the Central University of Hyderabad, who hails from Sagar.

Since the artist's means of livelihood is only his art, it is not possible for every artist to go to Mumbai or other places. Therefore, Raavan Films is giving a platform to the artists taking initiative in this direction. The web series and short films in Sagar were also produced by Ravan Films in the past. In which local artists were given an opportunity, which will soon be released on various film festivals and OTT platforms.

The economic side also plays an important role in such an event. For which many sponsors of our city made their significant contribution in making the event a success. Without these sponsors, it was difficult for us to give this program such height, he added.

Apart from this, he revealed that there is a plan to take this drama forward not only at the local level but also at various national level forums. He told that the events centred on Bundelkhand will also be presented in the coming time.

The performance of the play will be held on 23rd March 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium, University Sagar. Admission to this is completely free but a pass will be compulsory for admission.

Rahas-Mela-One-Of-The-Oldest-Fair-of-the-MP- Minister-Bhargav

SagarWatch@ Public Works, Cottage and Village Industries Minister Gopal Bhargava said that one of the oldest two fairs of the entire state is the famous historical and cultural five-day "Gadhakota Rahas Mela" of the Bundelkhand region. Efforts were made to make it as popular as possible. So that more and more people get the benefit of various welfare schemes of the government. 

The CEO of Zilla Panchayat, Mr Ikshit Garhpale said that more and more beneficiaries will be benefited in the five-day "Rahas Mela". On March 12, the Mission  Nagrodaya program and Kisaan Sammelan will be organized. A conference and training program will be organized on 13 March for the women of the livelihood mission women and self-help groups. On March 14, Panchayati Raj and beneficiary Sammelan Mela will be at the closing ceremony.

Free Health, Disability and Health Testing Camps have been organized on March 10 and 11 in the five-day Rahas Mela organized in Gadhakota. In these, specialist doctors and machines have been called from Mumbai, Indore and Sagar to check all types of diseases, through which patients will be distributed free medicines after testing and screening.

Free Health Check-Up Camp

A two-day free health camp has been set up in Gadhakota. In which patients are being tested and treated by medical experts from outside and free medicines are being given. These include women and obstetric diseases, urinary and kidney diseases, availability of sonography, stomach and other diseases, dental, oral, jaw, bone, nose, ear, asthma, tuberculosis, chest, skin, dermatitis, neonatal and pediatric diseases, uric acid. And treatment facilities are provided by specialists for diseases like HbA1c, sugar test, PFT and numbness of nerves. Thousands of people are taking advantage of the health camp.

Disability Check-up & Certificate Distribution for Handicapes

A two-day disability test and certificate camp have been set up in Gadhakota. After the examination by the Medical Board, certificates of disability are being made available to the disabled on the spot. The equipment that the disabled need. They are also being given. Equipment such as tricycles, ear machines, crutches etc. are also being provided. In addition, those with disabilities need prostheses. Arrangements have also been made to make it available.

SagarWatch@ Many events are being organized on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri. The royal procession being carried out by the Jai Mahakal Hindu organization for the last four years will come out in its fifth year with great pomp and glittering Damru playing of Ujjain.

Kamal Chaurasia, the president of the organization and members told the media today that Baba Bholenath's "royal procession" started on 11 March 2021 day on Thursday from Champabagh temple Laxmipura, via Radha Tigadda via Sarafa Bazar, Teenbatti, Katra, the main road back to Champabagh. It will be done at the temple.

Members of the organization said that the main centre of attraction in Bholenath's royal procession this year will be Damru players coming from Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal. This is the fifth year of the event.

The members of the organization appealed to all the devotees of the city to follow the Corona Guideline, adding that the organization has especially provided facemasks for all the devotees at the royal procession of Baba Bholenath. The Jai Mahakal Hindu organization invited all the townspeople through the media and also appealed to bring a saffron flag with them.
