Cabinet Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that the height of Rajghat Dam, which is considered the lifeline of Sagar, will be increased soon. 

Also, a 20 kilometer long corridor will be built in the middle of the previously proposed Nauradehi and currently Veerangana Durgavati Sanctuary. According to him, development of the entire state including Sagar district will be his first priority.

Sagar is demanding that Dhana airstrip should be expanded, he will soon talk to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and make every possible effort. 

Minister Rajput said that after the establishment of Dr. Harisingh Gaur Central University in Sagar, efforts are being made to open a state university. He will also make efforts for this. 

Along with this, a proposal will also be made to give the status of Women's University to Government Girls Higher School College, in which more than 13000 girl students are studying.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it the top priority of the State Government to ensure quality of development works done within specific time-limit. Progress of all works will be continuously monitored. The Chief Minister said that the public interest is the first priority.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the collectors to earmark government land in view of future projects. He gave instructions for making zonal plan for big cities including Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing divisional review meeting at Ujjain on Sunday.

The Members of Parliament, MLAs, Mayor, District Panchayat President, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police and Collectors and Superintendents of Police of all the districts of the division were present.

While giving instructions for better implementation of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that through this Yatra, the people should get the benefits of schemes without any hindrance. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will cover at least 25 thousand people every day. The people of urban and rural areas will be informed about the centre's schemes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while reviewing the progress of construction of roads directed that all construction works should be completed within the time-limit. All officers must review the status compulsorily.

Strict action for open sale of meat, fish

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked the officers concerned to take effective action against those selling meat and fish in the open. Along with this, the Chief Minister directed that markets should be developed everywhere for meat and fish sellers to check selling meat and fish on the roadside.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there will be no compromise in maintaining law and order. The Chief Minister said that if a situation of communal tension arises, effective action should be taken. He directed that all the Superintendents of Police should strengthen the zones in their respective jurisdictions. Also the public representatives should be associated with this. He said that the police stations will be rationalized and their jurisdictions will also be determined. The functioning of police stations will be reviewed so as to make them effective. The Chief Minister asked the officers to keep on taking action against loudspeakers being played exceeding the prescribed decibels.

Dr. Yadav said that the services of retired officials doing good work will be taken. Their expertise will be utilized in implementing schemes. He directed to take strict action against adulteration in milk and petrol.

Observe time-limit in road projects

The Chief Minister directed that Datana and Mullapura roads should be connected. He expressed the need to build a road on both sides. He said that the roads get damaged due to laying of pipelines. People should be counselled not to lay pipelines on the roads. Adequate arrangements for water drainage should be made. He instructed that the already completed construction site should not be disturbed for new construction work.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the collectors to ensure better coordination between two departments. The Chief Minister said that all the collectors should resolve the problems and issues of the MLAs on priority. Dr. Yadav said that the agenda of development comes first.

MLAs raised issues relating to roads and building construction works. The Chief Minister was apprised of the programmes being organized regarding the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

State Police should work to implement the intent of Prime Minister's smart policing and to control the crime in the state,Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today instructed senior police officers in the Police Headquarters.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there are some communities whose members are associated with criminal tendencies; efforts should be made to bring them into the mainstream. A detailed action plan should be implemented in the districts where crime rate is high. 

Ensure effective and strict action against illegal arms smuggling, liquor mafia and for mineral mafia in co-ordination with the Mineral Department. An imperative strategy must be executed to address the requirements for the next 20-25 years.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said to expedite the process of promotion of officers on high posts and State Police Service to All India Service. 

There should be no delay in promotion to the posts of inspectors and other posts. Action should also be taken in pending cases of compassionate appointment. Ensure active participation of Nagar and Gram Suraksha Samitis.

Police personnel should be encouraged to perform better. The work of arranging accommodation for police personnel should be made easier with a co-operative approach at every level,he added.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajoura apprised with the need for vehicles and the proposal for its fulfillment and other proposals including the welfare of police personnel. 

In the meeting, Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena gave a presentation related to the working of the police department. 

The presentation mainly included information on the pillars of the working system, structure of the state police, law and order, anti-Naxal campaign, crime control, use of technology, budget, infrastructure development and human resource development along with success and achievements of the department.

Initially, when Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the police headquarters, the police force presented the guard of honour in the premises. 

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented a memento by Director General of Police Shri SK Saxena after the meeting with senior police officers at the Police Headquarters.

Major instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in the meeting of police officers

  • Importance should be given to departmental work that increases the efficiency of the police personnel.
  • There should be strict control on all types of crimes.
  • Madhya Pradesh has to improve in order to control crime.

  • Prepare police bands in every district keeping in mind the dignity of celebrations like Independence Day, Republic Day. Training should be given to jawans interested in learning band in the battalion. 
  • Along with the battalion, interested jawans from the Home Guard should also be included in the police band. There should be a police band at the district level also. This band adds dignity to the programmes.

  • Develop a plan to remove discrepancies regarding area boundaries of police stations. Make a plan keeping in mind the population of the police station area, crime concentrated area, religious sensitivity and other aspects. 
  • In religious places where there is a tradition of taking out sawari, chal samaroh and festivals several times a year, priority should be given to ease of transportation, necessary parking arrangements and security.

  • While making zonal master plan or planning for change in land use of government land, police should also give their opinion keeping in mind crime and crowd control so that necessary arrangements can be made in public interest.
  • Make efforts to utilize the existing resources to increase the efficiency of police personnel.
  • Crowd control arrangements at religious fairs in Orchha, Ujjain and other cities have to be made more effective.
  • Promotions at every level in the posts of police force should be done on time.
  • Policemen should also be encouraged by senior officers so that they continue to perform their work and fulfill their responsibilities.
  • The housing problem of police personnel should be resolved. Extend Cooperation for the arrangement of housing at the Police Housing Corporation level and at the private level by police personnel.
  • Work should be done to curb prostitution. There should be special sensitivity while dealing in these types of crimes along with social status and harmony.

 

Sanitation workers Meet-No Outsourching in Urban Bodies- Minister

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh have said that no stone will be left unturned in whatever can be done for the welfare of the sanitation workers. Will end the outsourcing system in all urban bodies. Its orders will be issued soon. 

A committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing to consider the 18-point demand letter of the sanitation workers. The committee will consist of three representatives of the organization. The committee will submit its report in a month.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh was recently addressing the Madhya Pradesh Safai Kamgar Sammelan at Rabindra Bhawan in Bhopal.

Minister Mr Singh said arrangements will be made to get salaries to the Swachhta Mitras on time every month. The amount of octroi compensation of Bhopal Municipal Corporation will be released soon. Giving compassionate appointments will also be considered. He said that all possible demands would be met.

Minister Mr Singh said that the amount of accident insurance for sanitation workers has been increased from Rs. 2 lacks to Rs. 5 lacks. By 2024, there is a target to start cleaning with machines in various cities. Machines will be made available to the cleaning staff. This will facilitate the cleaning workers in their work.

Municipal Corporation Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai said that the state has come number 1 in cleanliness in the whole country only because of you people. He said that cleaning will not be done on contract in Bhopal Municipal Corporation. Salaries will be given to the cleaning workers on time.

State President of All India Safai Mazdoor Trade Union, Magan Jhanjot put forward various demands regarding the cleaning workers. He also handed over an 18-point demand letter to the Urban Development and Housing Minister. 

Other office bearers of the organization also expressed their views in the programme. During this, Bhopal Municipal Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi, Municipal Corporation President Sagar Vrindavan Ahirwar and other officials were present.

Eleve-PSA-oxygen-Plants-Will-be-set-up-Soon-in-MP- Petroleum-Minister

SagarWatch@ Union Minister for Steel, Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has said that well-equipped Covid Care Centers will be set up in Mandla, Dindori, Balaghat, Seoni and Narsinghpur districts of Madhya Pradesh, with oxygen lines, oxygen concentrators and ventilators through MOIL Company. Also, 11 PSA oxygen plants will be set up soon in Madhya Pradesh. Additional cryogenic oxygen tankers will also be provided to the state. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan were holding talks with the concerned officials through video conferencing from Mantralaya today. Cooperatives Minister Shri Arvind Singh Bhadauria was also present.

Oxygen concentrators on every bed

CCC’s of 100 beds in Mandla district, 100-bed in Balaghat, 50-bed in Dindori, 60-bed in Seoni and 40-bed in Narsinghpur, are being set up with high capacity oxygen concentrators on every bed and oxygen facility. In addition, total 50 ventilators will also be installed.

25 MT bottling plant in Bina also

Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that a bottling plant will also be started in Bina, which will fill 25 MT per day in 3000 oxygen cylinders. Two oxygen plants of 91 MT each have been tested and commissioned for oxygen availability in Bina.

All PSA plants will be installed by June

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 11 PSA oxygen plants will get started in the state by the month of June. Union Minister Shri Pradhan said that some of these plants will be completed in May itself. These plants are being set up at Dewas, Dhar, Mandla, Hoshangabad, Panna, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Sidhi, Bhind, Rajgarh and Shajapur.

Big help to Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Union Minister Shri Pradhan is providing big help to Madhya Pradesh during the Covid crisis. A well-equipped Covid Care Center is coming up in Bina. Oxygen plants, bottling plants are being started and Covid Care Centers and other facilities are being provided in Madhya Pradesh through companies like MOIL and GAIL.  The proposed one-day strike of February 26 in the state has been withdrawn after discussion with the Madhya Pradesh government's Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput. In the discussion between the transport minister and bus operators, an agreement has been agreed to increase the fare from March 1.

 " there has been a discussion between Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chohan and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput regarding fare hike. Therefore, the proposed strike on 26/02/2021 is being withdrawn. said, Santosh Pandey, State acting president of MP'S Bus Honors Association.

He has appealed to the bus operators to withdraw the proposed one-day strike on 26/2/21. He said that the increase in prices of diesel petrol was causing problems in the operation of buses.

For this reason, bus owners requested to increase the price. He said that bus drivers, etc., are not usually at fault in bus accidents. Many times the Transport Department does challan etc. after the incident on the buses. It should be noted.

The government will provide free transport facility to the candidates who appear in the JEE Mains and NEET exams. Two examination centers in Sagar district have been set up for Sheetal Skill Development Center, Motinagar Sagar and ION Digital Zone, SSHC Jain, Makaronia JEE Mains.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that, all passenger buses will be allowed to run at full capacity in the state from August 20, but the bus operators will have to ensure that all precautions like wearing masks etc. are taken.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing at Mantralaya. Urban Development and Housing Minister, Shri Bhupendra Singh, Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary also took part in the video conference. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman etc. were present in the meeting.
Testing reports must be available in 24 hours

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there is information of delay in reports of Corona testing from some districts. In this regard, all divisional commissioners should ensure that the report of testing in the districts of their divisions is made available within 24 hours.
Sampling should be adequate

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in some districts, there is less testing, so the concerned collectors should increase testing. Officers in charge of the districts should ensure increased testing in the districts under their charge. He told them to take full care of their districts, review them daily and make regular visits.

Recovery rate of state is 75.4

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state’s recovery rate is 75.4 percent. Active Corona cases are 10717 in the state and comparatively, Madhya Pradesh ranks 16th in the country. The testing capacity of the state is 13254 per 10 lakh persons. He directed to increase Corona testing in the state.

Commissioner of Urban Administration and Development has also released instructions to concern officers to ensure the relieving of engineers should be done within a week.
