Under the directives of Collector Sandeep G.R., continuous surprise inspections are being carried out to ensure that government school staff follow e-attendance rules and remain present on time. As part of this ongoing drive, District Education Officer (DEO) Arvind Jain conducted sudden inspections on Tuesday in the Deori and Rahli blocks, visiting four government schools.

Major Findings

  • Multiple teachers were found absent despite repeated instructions on e-attendance.

  • Two schools showed full compliance, with all staff present and classes running smoothly.

  • Salary deduction and show-cause notices issued to absentee staff.

Details of School Inspections

A significant number of staff members were absent, including:

  • Rajneesh Dubey, Higher Secondary Teacher

  • Richa Gupta, Higher Secondary Teacher

  • Chuttan Singh Dhurve, Lecturer

  • Deepak Kumar, Support Staff

  • Jyoti Lakhera, Support Staff

  • Nikhil Khare, ICT Instructor

The following teachers were found absent:

  • Omkar Prasad Ladiya, Primary Teacher

  • Somya Dixit, Guest Teacher

  • Kamlesh Patel, Guest Teacher

  • Neeraj Kachi, Guest Teacher

3. Government High School, Rampur Rahli

  • Entire staff present

  • Classes operating properly

4. Government High School, Patai Rahli

  • All staff present

  • Academic activities are running as expected

Administrative Actions

DEO Arvind Jain initiated strict measures:

  • One-day salary deduction for all absent government staff.

  • Show-cause notices were issued to explain their absence.

  • Guest teachers were also given a final warning, along with a salary deduction and an instruction to appear before the DEO office to present their justification.

This inspection drive signals the administration’s intent to enforce discipline, but the repeated violations also underline a deeper challenge — the need for stronger monitoring, smarter leadership, and genuine technological adoption across the district’s education system.
