👉Ahead of Holi, Sagar Police have enforced extensive security arrangements across the district.
Intensive checking, round-the-clock monitoring, and deployment at sensitive locations have been ensured. Strict action will be taken against drunken driving, rash driving, hooliganism, and misinformation on social media platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp.
Special measures are also in place to ensure peaceful board examinations and control noise pollution during festivities.
👉On the occasion of National Science Day, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Arts and Commerce College organized academic and creative competitions.
The event commemorated the discovery of the Raman Effect by C. V. Raman and promoted scientific temper. Competitions included rangoli, poster-making, and a quiz, highlighting this year’s theme, “Women in Science: Catalyzing Developed India.”
More Than 2000 Remained Absent..
👉The examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission concluded peacefully across all centres in Sagar. Commission-appointed observer Manohar Dubey, along with Additional Collector Avinash Rawat and other officials, inspected various centres.
Nodal Officer B.P. Singh stated that out of 8,663 registered candidates, 6,365 appeared, while 2,298 remained absent. The examination was held smoothly in strict compliance with the Commission’s guidelines.

👉To ensure transparency, timeliness and ease in fertilizer distribution, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented the e-Vikas (Distribution and Agriculture Supply Solution) system across the state.
A district-level training session on the e-Vikas portal and related farmer procedures will be held on March 6, 2026, at Mahakavi Padmakar Auditorium, Motinagar, Sagar.
Revenue and cooperative officials will be trained in token generation. Separate sessions are scheduled for different development blocks in morning and afternoon slots.
Two Days Holidays For Holiday
👉The Government of Madhya Pradesh has declared a public and general holiday on March 3, 2026 (Tuesday) on the occasion of Holi. According to a notification issued by the state’s General Administration Department, the holiday is included in the official list of declared holidays for the year 2026.
Additionally, March 4, 2026 (Wednesday) has also been declared as a public and general holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
