The Nigam Commissioner also ordered strict action against those defacing public walls with posters, warning of penalties under the Property Defacement Act.

The three-day annual cultural festival “Umang 2026” concluded with enthusiasm at Sahodra Rai Government Polytechnic College from February 19 to 21. The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Y.P. Singh. 

Competitions, including rangoli, poster-making, reel-making, and staff game,s marked the first two days. The final day featured Bollywood-themed performances, with the traditional Badhai folk dance securing first place. 

A mental health skit by the Health and Fitness Club highlighted awareness about stress and well-being.
