here has been delay in the fire station building construction work by M/s Paras Infra, Mumbai, the contracted construction agency of Sagar Smart City. Due to which the agency has been blacklisted by Sagar Smart City management for three years. This agency will not be able to participate in the Madhya Pradesh tender process for the next three years.

It is noteworthy that Fire Fighting Control Room and Fire Station Building is under construction by Sagar Smart City Limited with the aim of timely controlling the fire accident anywhere in the city and further improving the fire fighting services. 

Now the remaining works like fire fighting work of building, construction of parking for fire vehicles and construction of practice area, landscaping work, drainage work etc. will be completed by issuing new tender.

With the aim of increasing the voting percentage in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, a district level slogan and rangoli competition was organized under the sweep activities for voter awareness in Government Autonomous Girls Post Graduate Excellence College.

In which 19 participants from 10 colleges of the district participated in Rangoli and 33 participants participated in slogan making by writing motivational slogans to make voters aware and through colorful Rangoli, they expressed the arrangement of ideal polling station.

In the slogan competition, Sejal Jain stood first, Somati Prajapati stood second, Suhani Dangi stood third. In Rangoli, Parul Athya stood first, Mehak Kurmi stood second and Diksha Kurmi stood third.

Bhoomi Pujan of M/s Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited Unit-2 in village Saurai of Banda tehsil of the district was done through virtual conference under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

On this occasion, in the program organized in Saurai, Banda MLA said that Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited was started with a small unit in 2010 in Banda area. 

Today this unit has developed and its capacity is continuously being increased. In this series, there will be an increase in the manufacturing of fertilizers here with an investment of Rs 275 crore.

It is noteworthy that 13.7052 hectares of land has been allotted to M/s Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited Unit 2 for expansion. Fertilizer products and their co-products will be expanded by the unit at a cost of Rs 275 crore. Also, solar plant will be established.

Marketing Head of Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited said that at present there is a capital investment of Rs 300.00 crore in the unit and 1000 people are getting employment. Whereas a capital investment of Rs 275 crore will be made in Unit-2, which will provide employment to about 800 persons.

Make-the-drains-completely-free-from-encroachment-MLA-Jain

SagarWatch@ The entire work of the smart road from Tili square to Civil Line Square should be completed by 31 May. Apart from this, the land of large or medium drains identified under the project of stormwater and Drainage system project should be completely free from encroachment. Do not leave even an inch of encroachment on the drains. Remove the encroachments on the drains and beautify them to make a green corridor. These instructions were given by city MLA Shailendra Jain in a review meeting of the development works going on in the city under the Smart City Project.

Shri Jain took detailed information from the officials of the lake agency about the upcoming works such as desilting, sewer tapping, Mongabadhan construction as well as Wastewater treatment Plant and embankment Stone Pitching in detail and so far.

A review meeting of the progressive works of Banjara Lake Rejuvenation and Lakefront Development, Smart Road Corridor and Storm Water and Drainage System Projects was chaired by MLA Shailendra Jain. In the meeting, Corporation Commissioner RP Ahirwar and Smart City CEO Rahul Singh Rajput and other employees of Sagar Smart City officials were also present.

 Mr Ahirwar, Commissioner-cum-Executive Director, instructed the officials of Lakha Banjara Lake Company, Aswath Infratech, to present the necessary manpower on the site.

Along with the current works, the ghat construction, park construction, Lakha Banjara idol and fountain etc. should be submitted to the office at the earliest with detailed information related to the engineering design, so that they can be expedited after review and investigation.

 Reviewing the smart road, said that the boundary walls under the smart road should be removed by making new boundary walls inside and increase the working speed.

During the review, CEO Shri Singh directed the officials of Aswath Infratech to immediately ensure the availability of Mongabadhan construction work, drainage taping pipe and other materials etc. Non-availability of material should not prevent any kind of work. We have to complete the lake project within the time limit. While reviewing the smart road, the concerned agency was also instructed to increase machines and manpower.

 Will-blacklist-the-company-for-delay-in-Lake-project-work-Collector


SagarWatch@ The district collector expressed displeasure over the delay in the progress of the Lakha Banjara Lake project. He warned the officials of the responsible company, Aswath Infratech, that this is a work-related to public sentiment and complete the work on time. Otherwise, the company will be blacklisted at the state level, not just in Sagar. According to the official information, the company has to complete all the scheduled work like an embankment, including desilting, drain tapping, Monga construction, by the deadline of May 15.

Collector Deepak Singh visited the construction works of more than 321 crores going on under the joint provision of Smart City and Municipal Corporation and inspected them on the spot and gave necessary guidelines.

Collector Shri Singh first inspected the 14-km Smart Road and immediately gave instructions to remove the encroachment in the Smart Road. He also inspected the incubation centre, the women's hostel being built in the old RTO office complex and all the works were done. He instructed officials to complete the work before 30 June.

Collector Shri Singh directed that the Revenue Department should immediately constitute two teams around the Lakha Banjara lake and identify the encroachment from Sunday and ensure the action to remove them.

He said that encroachments made around the Lakha Banjara lake should be removed by the encroachers themselves, otherwise the joint team of revenue, police and the municipal corporation will remove them.

Before on-spot inspection of construction works, the District Collector presided over the review meeting of the works of the Smart City held in the hall of the Smart City Limited office. In the meeting, they reviewed the physical and financial progress of the developmental works of the smart city in detail and directed the concerned people.

The meeting was attended by Corporate Commissioner cum Executive Director RP Ahirwar, CEO Rahul Singh Rajput, Company Secretary Rajat Gupta, CFO KP Srivastava, CA Akanksha Juneja, EE Abhishek Singh Rajput, PMC Expert and Projects Agency officials.

SagarWatch@ Thirty meters space has been reserved for the smart road as per the master plan by Sagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) at Sagar Nagar, the divisional headquarters of Bundelkhand. Under this, a 21 m wide road is being constructed from Tilli Y-junction to the Civil line Square.

In view of its expansion, the landlords of the Civil Line area had also lodged a protest in front of Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh and MLA Shailendra Jain. After this, with the effort of the MLA, it was solved. An area of 30 meters has been secured in view of the masterplan. It will have a 21-meter road.

According to official sources, the pipeline already installed under the Rajghat project is becoming a hindrance in road construction. At present, Its shifting is not feasibale. It could have taken more than a year to move the pipeline to another location, with an additional cost of about 18 crores and about 9 crores in a 30-meter wide road.

It is known that five smart roads are to be constructed by SSCL at a cost of about 83 crores. Under this, construction work of 21-meter wide smart road from Tilli Y-junction to Civil line Square has been started in the first phase.

In Master Plan 2031, a 30-meter wide road has been proposed. For which space has been reserved but construction is being done in 21 meters. A greenery pathway and track will be built in the remaining 9 meters.

According to the Detail Project Report (DPR), both sides are measured from the middle of the road, but by SSCL and the contractor, this measurement was done from the pipeline, so that the residents on one side came under the purview of the encroachment of the house.

Smart city executive director and corporation commissioner RP Ahirwar said that 21 meters wide road was also proposed in DPR. However, In the DPR survey, this road was estimated to have less traffic in terms of a width of 30 meters.

Even-Common-Man-Should-be-informed-about-Lake-Renovation-work

Sagar Smart City Executive Director RP Ahirwar and CEO Rahul Singh Rajput reached the site and inspected the ongoing works under Lakha Banjara Lake renovation and development.

On this occasion, Sagar Smart City Executive Director RP Ahirwar said that the common people of Sagar should also be informed about the works of Lake Banjara Lake.

For this, the public will be informed about the work of the lake with the help of projectors etc. through public means by the agency. Since the lake also has the sentiments of common people, what is the socio-economic study being done by the smart city teams.

Mr Ahirwar told 'Sagar Watch' that 60 per cent water has been emptied, further the lake will be emptied with the help of pumps.
