Chief Guest Vivek K.V., CEO Zila Panchayat, and Special Guest Additional SP Lokesh Sinha inspected the parade, followed by a march-past salute by five contingents. Disaster management equipment was also showcased. 

The second session began at 3 PM with games like tug-of-war and musical chairs, along with cultural performances by school students who were later awarded shields.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Labour Bar Association submitted a memorandum to MP and BJP state general secretary Dr Lata Wankhede, demanding that the proposed tribunal under the Central Government’s new four Labour Codes be established in Sagar. 

They also urged that proceedings in the Labour Court continue until the tribunal is formally constituted. The delegation included Association President V.N. Sarwate, Secretary Patrice Fuskale, Vice President Vineet Tamrakar and other office-bearers and advocates.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has invited online applications for its “Super-5000” schemes for students of Classes 10 and 12. The merit list for the 2024–25 High School and Higher Secondary examinations, released by the MP Board, is already available on the Labour Department portal

Children of registered construction workers included in this list are eligible to apply. Applicants can submit forms through the official website, where deadlines and guidelines are provided.

๐Ÿ‘‰Assistant Director of Public Education Mritunjay Kumar conducted a surprise inspection at Government High School Menpani on Monday, reviewing academic and administrative arrangements. 

He instructed teachers to hold extra classes for weak students and ensure mandatory e-attendance for timely arrival and departure, appreciating the school’s compliance. 

Kumar interacted with Classes 9 and 10, checked half-yearly exam results, labs, bridge courses and homework. He also directed monthly PTA meetings and daily awareness messages during the morning assembly.

Sessions at 11 MP NCC Battalion Dhana educated 450 cadets on computer and mobile security, social-media–based cybercrimes, app safety, and the reporting portal cybercrime.gov.in

๐Ÿ‘‰Rahatgarh: Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection Minister, along with his wife and former Zila Panchayat President, attended the Shri Panch Kalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav in Rahatgarh and received blessings from the Jain monks. 

Addressing devotees from across the district, the minister said the arrival of revered Muni Shri 108 Praman Sagar Ji has made Rahatgarh a spiritual destination. He thanked the organising committee and said such divine presence brings peace, prosperity and pride to the region.

๐Ÿ‘‰Sagar: In a noble act of service, the family of 72-year-old Laddaram Sajika of Subhash Nagar, Sindhi Camp, fulfilled his wish for posthumous eye donation moments after his passing on 28 November 2025. 

His grandson Deepak promptly informed the authorities, and the Bundelkhand Medical College Eye Bank team, led by Dr. Anjali Virani Patel and guided by Dr Sarika Chauhan, swiftly collected and preserved the corneas. The donation will help restore sight to two visually impaired persons.

๐Ÿ‘‰Sagar: Collector Sandeep G.R. directed officials to ensure all arrangements for the International Gita Mahotsav on 1 December. As per state instructions, the main district event will be held at Vrindavan Bagh Temple, where 5,100 participants will recite the Gita, along with 500 readers in each development block. 

Additional Collector Avinash Rawat inspected the venue and instructed officials to ensure cleanliness, lighting, drinking water, parking and toilets, along with LED screens for the Chief Minister’s live address.

๐Ÿ‘‰Sagar: Twenty-three RAWE students from College of Agriculture, Ganjbasoda (JNKVV), visited the agricultural laboratories at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagar, for hands-on learning. 

Guided by Dr K.S. Yadav and RAWE in-charge Dr Mamta Singh, they observed soil testing procedures, fertiliser quality assessment and seed testing methods under experts Jitendra Rajput, S.B. Singh and Sanjay Pathak. 

The visit enhanced students’ technical skills, practical understanding and confidence, strengthening their preparedness for agricultural research and extension services.

Gita Mahotsav 

Sagar: Collector Sandeep G.R. directed officials to ensure all preparations for the International Gita Mahotsav on 1 December. Additional Collector Avinash Rawat inspected the Vrindavan Bagh Temple venue, where the district’s main program will host 5,100 Gita readers, with 500 participants at each block headquarters. 

All Krishna temples will conduct special events, maintain cleanliness and lighting, and host exhibitions. Nodal officers have been appointed for rural and urban arrangements to ensure smooth celebrations across the district.

๐Ÿ‘‰Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is scheduled to visit Chhatarpur and Panna districts on November 19, 2025. He will inaugurate The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, a five-star luxury hotel in Chandranagar, Chhatarpur, aimed at boosting tourism. 

In Shah Nagar, Panna, he will dedicate and lay foundation stones for 14 development projects worth ₹82.62 crore, including road upgrades and infrastructure works. The Rajgarh Palace’s revival highlights Bundelkhand’s rich heritage and tourism potential.

๐Ÿ‘‰A 24-year-old man from Bundelkhand, suffering for years due to excessive consumption of paan, gutkha, and tobacco, regained normal life after a successful surgery at Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar

His mouth had been completely shut for five years, forcing him to survive on liquid food and face social isolation. Attempts at various treatments failed until Dr. Sweta Bhatnagar and her team at BMC performed a complex three-hour surgery. 

Using fiber-optic intubation and reconstructive techniques like the nasolabial flap, they safely removed fibrotic bands. The patient can now speak and eat normally. 

This rare success highlights BMC Sagar’s growing medical expertise and serves as a warning against long-term tobacco use, which can cause irreversible oral damage. The patient’s family expressed heartfelt gratitude, calling the recovery ‘a second life’.

๐Ÿ‘‰ A joint team from the Agriculture and Revenue departments investigated Golden Farmer Organic Agriculture Pvt. Ltd., Makronia, Sagar, after farmers’ complaints. 

The probe revealed that company operators were illegally selling PROM and JYM fertilizers without a license, with samples showing adulteration with stones. 

Farmers from Chanaula and Ratanpura reported poor crop results despite spending lakhs. Fertilizer samples were sent for testing, and an FIR was lodged under the Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and the Essential Commodities Act.

๐Ÿ‘‰In a noble gesture, the family of the late Shri Ratan Singh Kurmi donated his body for educational and training purposes to the Anatomy Department of Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar, on Tuesday. 

The college administration honored him with a ‘Guard of Honor,’ fulfilling the family’s wish with dignity. Notably, Kurmi had registered for body donation on October 27, 2020, and the process was completed within 70 hours of his demise. 

This first such donation under government directives is hailed as vital for future medical education.

๐Ÿ‘‰Sagar Division Commissioner Anil Suchari has suspended Assistant Engineer Amar Singh Adivasi of the Rural Engineering Service, posted at Janpad Panchayat Hatta, Damoh district

The officer allegedly issued technical approvals for 20 works beyond his jurisdiction. Despite being served a show-cause notice, he failed to appear for clarification. 

The inquiry found serious negligence, indiscipline, and misuse of authority in his actions. Consequently, Commissioner Suchari ordered his immediate suspension, effective today.

 Overseas Study Scholarship for OBC Students Issued

๐Ÿ‘‰Bhopal: The Office of the Commissioner, Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Bhopal, has announced a revised notification for the selection of eligible candidates under the Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2025–26. 

The revision has been issued to fill 17 vacant seats under the scheme, as per the prescribed rules and provisions.

According to the updated notification, the last date for online applications is November 19, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Madhya Pradesh State Scholarship Portal 2.0 at

The tools will revolutionize sinus disease diagnosis and treatment through minimally invasive techniques. College Dean Dr. P.S. Thakur praised the initiative, calling it a boon for underprivileged patients.

Purple Fair’ Promotes Dignity in Divyangjans

The event aimed to promote inclusion, self-reliance, and dignity among Divyangjans. Over 400 beneficiaries and 15 institutions participated, showcasing talent, crafts, and entrepreneurship.

๐Ÿ‘‰Sagar— On World Pneumonia Day, a seminar under the SAANS’ campaign  ("Social Awareness and Action to Neutralize Pneumonia Successfully) was inaugurated at District Hospital Sagar by Dr. Neena Gideon, Regional Director. 

Officials emphasized that pneumonia is a leading cause of death among children under five. The campaign, running from Nov 12, 2025, to Feb 28, 2026, focuses on early detection, vaccination, hygiene, and awareness. Health officers urged parents to ensure full immunization and timely treatment to prevent child deaths.

๐Ÿ‘‰Municipal Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri on Tuesday directed that commercial tax be levied on building owners renting premises to private schools within the municipal area. 

During inspection, he instructed officials to obtain details of all private schools from the District Education Officer and recover taxes for the operational period. 

Khatri also ordered action against schools lacking fire safety arrangements or Fire NOC, emphasizing that no compromise on students’ safety will be tolerated.

๐Ÿ‘‰Mayor Smt. Sangeeta Tiwari announced that the Aapki Mahapaur Aapke Dwar and Jan Chaupal programs will be held every Wednesday to address citizens’ grievances ward-wise. The initiative begins on November 12 from Dr. Harisingh Gaur and Indranagar wards

Camps will be organized between every two wards to extend benefits of government welfare schemes and resolve public complaints. Citizens can also pay property tax and water tax at the camps. The Mayor urged residents to actively participate and submit applications.

Deendayal Upadhyay Government Arts and Commerce College, Sagar, under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). District Judge and DLSA Secretary Ankit Srivastava cautioned students about the legal implications of social media posts that may incite unrest, emphasizing online privacy and responsible use. 

He also explained the POCSO Act, stating that consent below 18 years is legally invalid. Legal Aid Officer Mithlesh Dehriya highlighted that ignorance of the law cannot exempt anyone from punishment and urged awareness of legal responsibilities. 

He illustrated that even a lack of traffic knowledge can lead to heavy compensation in accidents. Principal Dr. Saroj Gupta and faculty members Dr. Amar Kumar Jain, Dr. Sangeeta Mukherjee, and Deepshikha Tripathi were present, with students actively engaging in the interactive session.

He instructed all principals, teachers, and education officials to record attendance through the “Hamare Shikshak” app, using GPS-based selfies, within the prescribed time. 

Emphasizing transparency and accountability, the Collector warned that any negligence will invite strict action and directed the DEO to launch a monitoring campaign across all development blocks.

๐Ÿ‘‰Municipal Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri conducted an early-morning inspection at Katra Market, removing seven roadside carts and seizing encroached materials. 

He directed officials to verify building permissions and report all encroachments, emphasizing that the city must be made encroachment-free and that traffic in Katra—Sagar’s main marketplace must be well organized. 

A fine of ₹1,000 was imposed on a vendor violating the roadside rules. Khatri also instructed shopkeepers to keep dustbins and warned of fines for littering or unauthorized constructions.

Sagar Watch  News/ Eye donation, known as the noblest form of donation, has restored vision to two individuals through successful corneal transplants at Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar

Both beneficiaries, a 46-year-old farmer and a woman from Sagar, regained sight after years of blindness. The surgeries were made possible through donated corneas received from a local social worker’s family. BMC offers free corneal transplant facilities and encourages voluntary posthumous eye donation.

 Illegal Structures Will Be Demolished-Nagar Nigam

Sagar — Municipal Commissioner and Smart City CEO Rajkumar Khatri on Saturday inspected a four-storey building near Dimple Petrol Pump and instructed the owner to use the premises strictly as per the approved building plan. 

He noted that a parking space was converted into a shop, warning that such violations could lead to cancellation of the map approval. Khatri also supervised encroachment removal and reviewed progress on the Jhalkari Bai statue platform near Traffic Park.

There will Be Holidays  on Voting Days 

๐Ÿ‘‰Voting will be held in four phases in various Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. In this regard, the state government has declared the voting dates as public holidays and general holidays. 

Keeping in view the elections to be held on 19th April (Friday) in the first phase, 26th April (Friday) in the second phase, 7th May (Tuesday) in the third phase and 13th May (Monday) in the fourth phase, general holidays have been declared on the above dates.

Unaccounted Money Siezed

๐Ÿ‘‰Special Suvilence Team has seized an undisclosed amount of more than Rs 11 lakh from five people in Titarpani Toll Plaza SST Naka Police Station Maharajpur, Assembly Constituency Number 38 Deori, Lok Sabha Constituency No. 7 Damoh.

SDM C Munawwar Khan said that the persons from whom the amount has been seized include Suraj Yadav, Rs 3 lakh 49 thousand, Pancham Yadav Rs 99 thousand 750, Roop Singh

  Rs 2 lakh each from Arjun Yadav and Rs 2 lakh 90 thousand from Mukesh Yadav were seized due to suspicion. All the accused are residents of Rasena tehsil Deori. A total of Rs 11 lakh 38 thousand 750 was seized.

Officers Learns about New Criminal law

๐Ÿ”Š A training session was organized in the police training school of Sagar about the Lok Sabha elections and the new criminal law-2023. In this two-day training session, organized offline and online respectively on 18-19 and 21-22 March, top police officers gave training. 52 officers of the level of Additional Superintendent of Police from all the districts of the division participated in the training.

The chief guest of the function will be the convocation address of Prof. KK Aggarwal, President of South Asian University (established by SAARC countries).

The guest of honor is eminent educationist, Panjab University, Chandigarh and former Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow Padmashree Prof. RC Sobti. University Chancellor Kanhaiya Lal Berwal, IPS (Seni) will preside over the function. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University will present the annual progress report along with the welcome statement. About 1200 students from 11 schools of CBCS system and 2 affiliated colleges have registered in the convocation.

Maternal Death Cases Review..  

๐Ÿ‘€  A review meeting of district level maternal death cases was held today in the Collectorate meeting room under the chairmanship of Collector Deepak Arya. Out of the maternal death cases, one case each from Khurai, Bina Agasaud, Rehli, Rahatgarh and Shahpur development blocks was reviewed.

Maternal mortality rate in the state is 173 per lakh live births and infant mortality rate is 48 per thousand live births. Continuous efforts are being made by the department to reduce this.

Maternal Death Surveillance and Response (MDSR) is currently being reviewed by the Government of India. Under which reporting, monitoring of every maternal death, analysis of the cause of death and reaction to it is to be ensured.

Schools Get Renewal Till 15 March

๐Ÿ‘€  According to the new order, March 15 has been fixed for new recognition and renewal recognition application of private schools for the session 2024-25 under the Right to Education Act.

According to the Director of the State Education Center, if the society or trust fails to submit the application for new recognition or renewal of recognition within the stipulated time limit, an additional amount of Rs 5,000 will have to be deposited as late fee from 11 to 15 March. Will be able to.

The State Service Main Examination-20231 of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will be held in one session from March 11, 2024 to March 16, 2024 at Shakhariya Girls Postgraduate College, city.

The exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. Only the examination of March 16 will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. A total of 203 contestants have to appear in this examination.

An applicant can be given admission in the Commission's examination only with one of the following original photo identity cards. 

Voter ID card, Aadhar card, driving license, Income Tax PAN card, service identity card with photo issued by Central and State Government and Public Sector Undertakings, local bodies and other employers, bank passbook with passport photo, candidates studying in educational institutions. 

In case of PGD, photo identity card issued by the head of the educational institution not more than three years ago, latest photo identity card attested by a gazetted officer. Only photocopy of Aadhar card will also be valid.

๐Ÿ‘‰Regarding the Green India Movement Environment Protection Public Awareness Campaign, Robin Singh, a resident of Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, started a cycle rally for public awareness from Kanyakumari from October 6, 2022 and reached Sagar after traveling through 550 districts.

Through his campaign, Shri Singh is warning the youth of the country about the conservation, renewal and renewal of the decreasing forest area in India and the global threat of climate change.

here has been delay in the fire station building construction work by M/s Paras Infra, Mumbai, the contracted construction agency of Sagar Smart City. Due to which the agency has been blacklisted by Sagar Smart City management for three years. This agency will not be able to participate in the Madhya Pradesh tender process for the next three years.

It is noteworthy that Fire Fighting Control Room and Fire Station Building is under construction by Sagar Smart City Limited with the aim of timely controlling the fire accident anywhere in the city and further improving the fire fighting services. 

Now the remaining works like fire fighting work of building, construction of parking for fire vehicles and construction of practice area, landscaping work, drainage work etc. will be completed by issuing new tender.

In which 19 participants from 10 colleges of the district participated in Rangoli and 33 participants participated in slogan making by writing motivational slogans to make voters aware and through colorful Rangoli, they expressed the arrangement of ideal polling station.

In the slogan competition, Sejal Jain stood first, Somati Prajapati stood second, Suhani Dangi stood third. In Rangoli, Parul Athya stood first, Mehak Kurmi stood second and Diksha Kurmi stood third.

Bhoomi Pujan of M/s Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited Unit-2 in village Saurai of Banda tehsil of the district was done through virtual conference under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

On this occasion, in the program organized in Saurai, Banda MLA said that Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited was started with a small unit in 2010 in Banda area. 

Today this unit has developed and its capacity is continuously being increased. In this series, there will be an increase in the manufacturing of fertilizers here with an investment of Rs 275 crore.

It is noteworthy that 13.7052 hectares of land has been allotted to M/s Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited Unit 2 for expansion. Fertilizer products and their co-products will be expanded by the unit at a cost of Rs 275 crore. Also, solar plant will be established.

Marketing Head of Madhya Bharat Agro Products Limited said that at present there is a capital investment of Rs 300.00 crore in the unit and 1000 people are getting employment. Whereas a capital investment of Rs 275 crore will be made in Unit-2, which will provide employment to about 800 persons.

๐Ÿ‘‰The inaugural session of a two-day national seminar was organized today on 28 February under the joint aegis of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology and the Indian Council of Historical Research at Dr. Harisingh Gour University.

Keynote speaker Prof. Vibha Tripathi, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology of Banaras Hindu University, threw light in detail on the archaeological and historical aspects of Madhya Pradesh in her keynote address. 

She explained in detail about the importance of archaeological remains and archaeological sites found in Madhya Pradesh from the Chalcolithic period to the historical period. 

During this, she also mentioned about various archaeological sites like Adamgarh, Kaytha, Eran, Khajuraho, Chausath Yogini Temple etc. and the antiquities of archaeological importance found. He further advised the researchers to work with independent thinking on the untouched aspects of various archaeological importance.

Chief guest Prof. Alok Tripathi, Additional Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, (New Delhi) emphasized on moving away from the colonial mentality and independent interpretation of the archaeological sites and the material obtained.

He appealed that the remains found need to be studied to understand the humans of that time and their functioning, their social and economic system, and not according to the traditional mentality.

๐Ÿ‘‰A special lecture by Chartered Accountant Prem Garg, who came from Chandigarh, was organized at the Department of Commerce, Dr. Harisingh Gour University Sagar. In the lecture, Shri Garg told the students about the importance of morality in life and advised them to contribute their best for success.

Answering the questions of the researchers on the risk in investment, he said that the lowest risk for long-term investment is in the currently prevalent Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme and land can be given priority for permanent investment.

While discussing a model regarding the elders of the society, he said that men and women should be given training in nursing so that the elders will get support in this stage of life and the youth will get employment.
