Sagar Watch News/ May 5, 2026/ In a unique initiative to promote cleanliness and civic pride, notebook and register covers in Sagar will now feature images of the city’s beautification projects and scenic spots. The effort aims to familiarize students and citizens with Sagar’s transformation while spreading awareness about cleanliness.
Inspired by the innovative initiatives of Municipal Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri, a local stationery operator has printed photographs of the city’s development and beautification works on notebook covers.
The commissioner formally launched the notebooks and appreciated the initiative, highlighting the role of children in influencing families and communities toward cleanliness.
He emphasized that such visual exposure will help students connect with their city’s progress and encourage awareness at the household level. The Nagar Nigam also plans to distribute these notebooks to underprivileged children through its outreach programs and 3R centers, urging citizens to support the cause as part of social responsibility.
Stationery businessman Siddharth Jain, associated with the Notebook Industry, said the idea emerged after seeing a civic awareness campaign. Combining business with social contribution, the initiative will continue in future editions, aiming to take Sagar’s “beauty story” to every home through students.
