Major Push to Fill Vacancies The Madhya Pradesh Government has approved 9,662 police posts, marking a significant step toward addressing long-pending vacancies and strengthening the state's law enforcement machinery. Recruitment and Promotions Go Together The government has not limited its efforts to fresh recruitment. After promoting nearly 25,000 police personnel, it has also decided to continue the promotion process for the remaining eligible employees. Strengthening Every Level of the Force The approved posts include Subedars, Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, Constables, and Driver Constables, ensuring additional manpower across various operational levels of the police department. Highest Priority Given to Constable Recruitment Among the sanctioned posts, 7,500 are for General Duty Constables and 1,000 for Driver Constables. This will significantly enhance the police force's presence at the grassroots level. Employment Opportunities for Youth The large-scale recruitment drive will create government job opportunities for thousands of young aspirants while reinforcing confidence in a transparent and time-bound recruitment process. Boost to Administrative Efficiency Adequate staffing is expected to improve crime prevention, law enforcement, traffic management, and public service delivery, making the police force more efficient and responsive. Vision of the Nation's Best Police Force The Chief Minister has directed the recruitment of 18,000 police personnel in phases, reaffirming the government's commitment to making the Madhya Pradesh Police the best in the country. Police to Support Development Initiatives With Naxalism largely eliminated from the state, the police force is expected to play a constructive role not only in maintaining security but also in supporting developmental activities. Administrative Commitment Backed by Action The speedy approval of recruitment and continued promotions reflects the government's emphasis on implementing reforms through timely execution rather than limiting them to policy announcements.

निर्देश से निर्णय तक: पुलिस भर्ती में तेज़ी का संदेश मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने पुलिस मुख्यालय की समीक्षा बैठक में दिए निर्देशों को शीघ्र अमल में लाकर प्रशासनिक कार्यशैली में गति और जवाबदेही का स्पष्ट उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया। रिक्त पदों की पूर्ति पर सरकार का फोकस राज्य सरकार ने पुलिस विभाग में 9,662 पदों की स्वीकृति देकर लंबे समय से रिक्त पदों को भरने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाया है। भर्ती और पदोन्नति साथ-साथ सरकार केवल नई भर्ती तक सीमित नहीं रही। लगभग 25 हजार पुलिसकर्मियों की पदोन्नति के बाद शेष कर्मचारियों के लिए भी क्रमबद्ध पदोन्नति प्रक्रिया जारी रखने का निर्णय लिया गया। हर स्तर पर मिलेगा नया बल सूबेदार, सहायक उपनिरीक्षक, उपनिरीक्षक, आरक्षक और चालक जैसे विभिन्न पदों पर स्वीकृति से पुलिस संगठन की कार्यक्षमता और संसाधनों में व्यापक वृद्धि होने की संभावना है। आरक्षक भर्ती को मिली सबसे बड़ी प्राथमिकता स्वीकृत पदों में 7,500 आरक्षक (जीडी) और 1,000 आरक्षक (चालक) पद शामिल हैं। इससे पुलिस बल की जमीनी उपस्थिति और कानून-व्यवस्था मजबूत होगी। युवाओं के लिए रोजगार का अवसर नई भर्ती से हजारों युवाओं को सरकारी सेवा में आने का अवसर मिलेगा। पारदर्शी और समयबद्ध भर्ती प्रक्रिया युवाओं का विश्वास भी मजबूत करेगी। प्रशासनिक क्षमता होगी अधिक प्रभावी पर्याप्त मानव संसाधन उपलब्ध होने से अपराध नियंत्रण, कानून-व्यवस्था, यातायात प्रबंधन और नागरिक सेवाओं में पुलिस की कार्यक्षमता पहले से अधिक प्रभावी बन सकती है। देश की सर्वश्रेष्ठ पुलिस का लक्ष्य मुख्यमंत्री ने 18 हजार पद भरने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित करते हुए स्पष्ट किया कि मध्यप्रदेश पुलिस को देश की सर्वश्रेष्ठ पुलिस बनाने के प्रयास लगातार जारी रहेंगे। विकास में भी निभाएगी अहम भूमिका नक्सलवाद प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में स्थिति सामान्य होने के बाद पुलिस की भूमिका केवल सुरक्षा तक सीमित नहीं रहेगी, बल्कि विकास कार्यों में भी उसकी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित होगी। संकल्प को मिला प्रशासनिक स्वरूप पुलिस भर्ती और पदोन्नति से जुड़े त्वरित निर्णय बताते हैं कि सरकार प्रशासनिक सुधारों को केवल घोषणा नहीं, बल्कि समयबद्ध क्रियान्वयन के माध्यम से आगे बढ़ाने का प्रयास कर रही है।
