Sagar Watch News/ To promote innovation and scientific thinking among school students, the annual national-level INSPIRE Award MANAK Competition & Exhibition was held at the state level in Indore. A total of 270 selected students from across Madhya Pradesh presented their innovative science models during the exhibition.
From Sagar district, eight INSPIRE Award MANAK models—four from the academic session 2023–24 and four from 2024–25—were selected for the state-level competition. The Sagar team participated in the exhibition under the leadership of District Team-in-Charge Mrs. Krishna Sahu.
Sagar District Participation:

Sonika Kori, a student of Integrated Government Higher Secondary School, Chitaura, presented a Multipurpose Device for Catching Poisonous Insects, developed under the guidance of Mrs. Krishna Sahu.

The model had earlier received appreciation at the district level from Minister Govind Singh Rajput, MLA Shailendra Jain, and District Collector Sandeep G.R., and was also widely praised at the state level.

Sakshi Lodhi from Government Middle School, Kusmi (Kesli) presented a Multi-functional Bag based on the Bag-less Education Scheme, aimed at reducing the physical burden of school bags.

Sachin Lodhi showcased a Smart Road Traffic Safety System focused on road safety and accident prevention, developed under the guidance of Teacher Rajesh Kumar Nema.

Nruti Lodhi, an award-winning student from Sandipani Higher Secondary School, Gadhola Jagir (Khurai), presented a model on Adjustment to the Base of Water Tank, guided by Manoj Kori.

Neha Ahirwar, from Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Shahpur, demonstrated a Fingerprint Switch Gas Stove with Safety Shut-off System, under the mentorship of Teacher Sulekha Ahirwar.

Soumya Jain, a student of Government Nehru Higher Secondary School, Sanodha, presented a Plucking Device for Lemon and Karonda, guided by Ranu Nema.

Isha Patel from Sandipani Umri, Sabulal, Garhakota showcased a Digital Bed Model, developed with guidance from Ratnesh Kumar Soni.

Ketan Mishra of Delhi Public School, Makronia presented a Demonstration Model on Waste Utilization and Circulation, focusing on electronic and plastic waste management using a solar-powered device.
