On Republic Day, every department presents  mobile tableau to make the public aware of the government's development plans, schemes and achievements. On the basis of their excellence, they are also given first, second and third place. The Public Relations Department also releases news on this topic.

But this time in the government news, the public relations department poured all its love on the tableau of the smart city which came in second place. It released big news on the tableau that came in second place but did not even mention the name of the tableau that came in first place. It was the PRO-Department's resposibility to mention the name of Women & Child Welfare department whose mobile tableau got first place and oother department tableaus that pparticipated in the Republic Day Parade sshow.

Hey, what was the fault of the tableau which came first that it was not considered necessary to even mention its achievement. After all, why has the Smart City Department remained the darling of the administration? Why can't even discussing the tableaus of other departments be considered step-motherly treatment?

Holding meetings to control unruly traffic has virtually become a regular practice in Sagar city. The townspeople are no longer influenced by such news.

It has now become a well-known fact in the city that most of those who are concerned about getting the traffic back on track are also responsible for creating obstacles in the smooth flow of traffic and harboring those who spoil the traffic system.

There are many reasons responsible for the disorganized traffic system. Some of the important factors among them are inaction of the regional transport department, negligent traffic police staff and incompetent administrative officers.

Till now they have not developed any system that can continuously monitor the smooth functioning of traffic in the city. Whenever any untoward incident happened, they would become alert and after taking some cosmetic steps would again return to their regular life.

It is being said that less than a fourth of the passenger vehicles plying on the roads in the city have licenses. How is this possible? Which department's failure should this be called? Of the transport department or the traffic police?

Whose failure is it, the traffic police or the district administration, in pitching tents on the crowded streets of the city and allowing the program to continue for weeks?

Whose failure is it to not stop hand cart traders and street vendors from disrupting traffic on the city's busiest roads? Of the traffic police or of the district administration? Is it not the responsibility of the public representatives to give advice to these businessmen?

On one hand, the Municipal Corporation collects fees from hawkers and those setting up shops on the streets of the city, while on the other hand, other departments of the administration remove them considering them as encroachers. So who is responsible for these double standards? Municipal Corporation, Traffic Police or whose administration?

Even though the traffic police seems to be lax in regulating the traffic in the city, the agility of the police is visible in issuing challans on the issues of helmets, wrong number plates and trendy silencers on two-wheelers. If even half of this efficiency effort is put into improving the traffic, the picture may change to a great extent.

The level of morale and wisdom that is expected from the district administration to bring the city's poor traffic system back on track is also visible in their statements and actions.

For example, recently when the media raised the issue of freeing the market streets of the city from the clutches of hand cart traders with the top officer of the district, a very shocking reply was received from the administration.

It was said that if the people setting up shop on the road do not move away then it would be better if people stop buying goods from them and when there is no sale then they will stop setting up shop there.

These are some questions and there will be more questions which have not been revealed yet. Those concerned about improving city traffic will have to answer these questions? Unless a concrete and long-term plan is implemented, it does not seem easy to improve the city's traffic system, which almost always seems to be derailed.

/ In the Madhya Pradesh  after recent assembly election ,a great many outgoing political leaders are not able to accept that change which put them out of mainstream .

They are still in the hangover of their ministership. They are behaving in such a way as if they are going to make a come back.Statements they are giving on time to time are showing  that how much impateince they are to get back the  positions they enjoyed earlier. They are not able to accept the reality.

However Political analysts are saying with tongue in cheek that all such leaders'  span of best time has now gone away only afew among them can make a come back.

Even the common man raising questions on their impatience to get again minister ship.

It is being said that Why only  one people should be given more than one chance while they didn't do anything special for the betterment  of the public ?

Whenever they got chance to serve the state as a minister they  exclusively worked for the betterment of their respective assembly constituencis and gave less importance for the requirement of the people of rest of the state.

It is also said that most of the so called development lover leader choose their own constituency for the extraordinary development because it gives them additional opportunity to siphone off commissions.

Not only seasoned politicians but also public observed that how the leaders of mp presented public welfare scheme from their own names which were originally launched by the central leadership.

How come such level of opportunism can be tolreated by any one who is truely dedicated to do good for the country and its people.

Sagar Watch/ The new government of Madhya Pradesh has now come into action. The cabinet has been formed. Soon the ministers will get the responsibility of the departments.

But once again a question has started rising in the minds of the public that this time what kind of ministers will there be who will worry more about the development of the entire state or only about their assembly constituencies? However,Ministers have also taken an oath to discharge their duties honestly as a minister.

It is usually talked among the public that if the minister is from the state, then it is his moral responsibility to talk about the interest of the entire state, to take care of the development of the entire state, then why does he seem to be worried only about the development of his assembly constituency during his entire tenure?

If we don't  talk about any specific region of  state, during the previous tenure of the BJP government, majority of cabinet ministers  seen making extraordinary efforts to make their own legislative constituency better then rest of all.

Throughout his tenure, many ministers remained extremely active in the development of his respective assembly and in providing benefits of government welfare schemes to the people of the area. But they were hardly seen to be as active in the rest of the state except their assembly constituencies.

It is also believed that in the desire of development of their respective assembly constituencies, they ignored the interests of other areas of the state and invested their share in their own areas.

If seen, such behavior of ministers comes in the category of contempt of the oath taken by them for the post of minister. While taking the oath, all the ministers publicly assure that they will work with complete honesty and impartiality for the development of the state and the welfare of the people of the state.

Seeing such behavior of the ministers, people can be seen saying that the ministers take care of their assembly constituencies as if it is their own property and their rights over which will continue from generation to generation.

Now the chief has changed in Madhya Pradesh. Change in work culture is also expected. In such a situation, people have started expecting that now the minister will not behave in a partisan manner towards the rest of the state and its people for the sake of the development of his own constituency.
