Sagar Watch News/ In a bid to strengthen the district’s education system, Collector Sandeep G.R. has directed strict monitoring of government schools to ensure the timely attendance of teaching staff. He instructed the District Education Officer (DEO) to conduct regular surprise inspections and enforce the mandatory e-attendance system for all government employees.
Following his directions, District Education Officer Arvind Jain inspected several schools in Banda block, including Bhedakhas, Chouka, Bhadarana, Gadar, and Chhapari.
Key Findings:

At Bhedakhas High School, multiple teachers, including R.D. Ahirwar and three guest teachers, were absent without authorization. No student attendance was recorded for November 10–12, 2025. A show-cause notice was issued to Principal Hargovind Rawat.

At Chouka Middle School, five teachers were absent, the main gate lacked a door, and animals were found roaming inside the campus. The in-charge headmaster was issued a show-cause notice.

At Bhadarana School, a teacher failed to sign the attendance register and was served a notice; another was on leave.

At Gadar High School, classes were running, but cleanliness was poor; the principal was issued a notice.

At Chhapari High School, classes were conducted normally with one teacher on leave.
The Collector ordered a one-day salary deduction for absent staff and the withholding of one salary increment pending explanation. Additionally, the services of absent guest teachers are being terminated for negligence of duty.
