Sagar Watch/
Prime Minister Narendra Modi ceremoniously inaugurated the 100-watt FM transmitter of All India Radio in Damoh today. Union Minister of State for Food Industry and Jal Shakti Shri Prahlad Singh Patel was present in Damoh during the programme. He visited the All India Radio Center and inquired about the Relay Center from the officials. A live view of Prime Minister Shri Modi was seen on this occasion.

Prahlad Singh Patel in his address on the launch of 100 watt FM transmitter of Akashvani Damoh said that apart from other media, Akashvani has taken the discussion of our cultural heritage to every household, so I consider it an important centre.

We have seen this effect in Prime Minister Mann Ki Baat and in the form of the success of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, we have seen the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence reaching the masses.

For the common man at the end, we are able to convey our message directly to him. Radio is the simplest and best means of communication.

He said he is grateful to the Prime Minister and thanked Central Information and Broadcasting Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur for getting the gift for Damoh.

Union Minister of State Mr Patel said that this is a very old station, today I am congratulating the Prime Minister on its restoration because he has not only given new life to All India Radio but has also given new strength.

I can understand the importance of All India Radio from Balaghat. Balaghat's All India Radio has a 99.6 per cent coverage area. But after the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the way the common people got the benefit of that connectivity of All India Radio and the success achieved by the Prime Minister in taking all his schemes to the common man, the results are in front of us today.

Whether this result is in the form of the Swachh Bharat Mission, whether it is in the form of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, or whether it is in the matter of discussions of our cultural heritage, the result is that we can reach everything to the common man, whether he Educated or uneducated, he added his relation. Today is another important day, it is also the death anniversary of King Hriday Shah, who led the Bundela rebellion from this land.
