Rahas-Mela-Aajeevika-Mission-in-MP-has-brought-a-big-change-Minister

 Self Help Group have brought about a sea change in the lives of our mothers & Sisters and they are becoming financially empowered. Also, our daughters act as bridges to handle two families. Express the above idea by the Public Works Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Shri Gopal Bhargava, on the fourth day of the Rahas Mela, at the Women Empowerment Conference, through the Ajinkika Mission.

Minister Shri Bhargava said at the Women's Empowerment Conference that education is the basic mantra to fight poverty, teach the daughters because, from education itself, the spirit of health awareness and self-reliance is developed in the daughters. Aajeevika Mission in Madhya Pradesh has brought a big change in the lives of women. Women are becoming self-sufficient with the help of the mission. At the same time, their thinking has also changed.

A loan amount of crores of rupees has been disbursed to the self-help groups. 27,500 families have been connected in 245 villages to the livelihood mission. In the same Rahas fair,3 years before, Governor Anandiben distributed sanitary pads to mother-in-law daughters-in-law. This is the first example of distribution across the country. Now this is the era of female awakening. Women are not backward. Women have to become self-sufficient.

In the program, Minister Bhargava distributed the amount of loan approval to women groups. CIF 1 crore rupees, bank linkage 2 crore rupees, 10 lakh revolving fund, 300 livestock, distributed loan checks to self-help women groups including 10 street vendor beneficiaries. District Manager Aajeevika Mission Harish Dubey presented the departmental report.

Organizing committee president Abhishek Bhargava, former chairman Small Forest Produce Federation Mahesh Kori, former vice president Manoj Tiwari Sagar Janpad Panchayat president Mr Chhotu Adivasi, former councillor ML Sahu, district president Sanjay Dubey, tehsildar Kuldeep Parashar, Aajeevika Mission district manager Harish Dubey, Block coordinator Rishi Kant Khatri, Saha. Block coordinator Liladhar Ahirwar, Radhe Tiwari, Archana Ahirwar, Keshav Vishwakarma, Uttam Kori, Bharat Chaurasia, officials of all the clan associations were present. The operation was conducted by Mr Vicky Jain and the gratitude was acknowledged by the Block Coordinator Hrishikant Khatri.

 Public Works, Cottage and Village Industries Minister Gopal Bhargava said that one of the oldest two fairs of the entire state is the famous historical and cultural five-day "Gadhakota Rahas Mela" of the Bundelkhand region. Efforts were made to make it as popular as possible. So that more and more people get the benefit of various welfare schemes of the government. 

The CEO of Zilla Panchayat, Mr Ikshit Garhpale said that more and more beneficiaries will be benefited in the five-day "Rahas Mela". On March 12, the Mission  Nagrodaya program and Kisaan Sammelan will be organized. A conference and training program will be organized on 13 March for the women of the livelihood mission women and self-help groups. On March 14, Panchayati Raj and beneficiary Sammelan Mela will be at the closing ceremony.

Free Health, Disability and Health Testing Camps have been organized on March 10 and 11 in the five-day Rahas Mela organized in Gadhakota. In these, specialist doctors and machines have been called from Mumbai, Indore and Sagar to check all types of diseases, through which patients will be distributed free medicines after testing and screening.

Free Health Check-Up Camp

A two-day free health camp has been set up in Gadhakota. In which patients are being tested and treated by medical experts from outside and free medicines are being given. These include women and obstetric diseases, urinary and kidney diseases, availability of sonography, stomach and other diseases, dental, oral, jaw, bone, nose, ear, asthma, tuberculosis, chest, skin, dermatitis, neonatal and pediatric diseases, uric acid. And treatment facilities are provided by specialists for diseases like HbA1c, sugar test, PFT and numbness of nerves. Thousands of people are taking advantage of the health camp.

Disability Check-up & Certificate Distribution for Handicapes

A two-day disability test and certificate camp have been set up in Gadhakota. After the examination by the Medical Board, certificates of disability are being made available to the disabled on the spot. The equipment that the disabled need. They are also being given. Equipment such as tricycles, ear machines, crutches etc. are also being provided. In addition, those with disabilities need prostheses. Arrangements have also been made to make it available.
