Dohela Festival-Asees Kaur's scintillating performance Mesmerised audience

Dohela Festival Inauguration-Khurai's pride day will be celebrated today

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh today inaugurated the three-day Dohela festival by worshipping Lord Badrinath and lighting a lamp in front of the idol of Maa Saraswati in the Dohela temple of Khurai. A grand fireworks program took place as soon as Minister Shri Singh announced the beginning of the Dohela Festival.

Minister Shri Singh started the cultural evening by presenting a bouquet to playback singer Mohit Chauhan. Mohit Chauhan started the performance with his famous song "Jo Bhi Main Kehna Chahoon".


In his speech, Urban Development and Housing Minister said that Khurai's Dohela Festival is establishing its name in the entire country along with the entire state, so that along with Sagar, Khurai is also recognized as Dohela Festival in the whole country.

He said that Khurai's pride day will be celebrated on the occasion of Makar Sakranti on January 15. In which all of you are cordially invited. Renowned cine singer Sonu Nigam will perform on this day.

He said that according to the intention of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Pride Day of all urban bodies is being celebrated. Pride Day is being celebrated by the Urban Development Department in all the urban bodies of the state, in this perspective, Khurai's Pride Day will be celebrated on January 15. In which dignitaries of Khurai will be honoured.
