SagarWatch@Congress Party Workers, a day before polling in the Damoh by-election, created a ruckus outside the hotel, fearing that in-charge of Damoh district and city administration minister Bhupendra Singh's government vehicles and a hotel room would be worth crores of rupees and be distributed in the election.
At the same time, the urban administration minister Bhupendra Singh called these allegations baseless. He termed the dispute as an embarrassment of the possible defeat of Congress. Singh told the media in the evening that he had gone 48 hours earlier to a guest house in Narsinghgarh, following the election conduct code.
Giving clarification in this matter, he said that since he is a minister, the vehicle keeps on coming for government work. This happened on Friday too, but I did not. The driver stopped there and went to eat. He said that Congress is actually creating such stunts for its defeat and is trying to confuse the public and the commission. No money has been found in the hotel and the car under investigation.
He said that the controversy is a play by the Congress party. There is no truth in the money that has come out of money. Rather it is an attempt to discredit the BJP. In the presence of the Congress leader, not a single rupee was seized in the investigation. The driver had taken the file, he did not know that the minister was not in Damoh. In the hotel, the driver was eating food, then the Congress party workers reached and they have worked to create a conspiracy.
