Sagar Watch News, Chhatarpur/ Governor Mangubhai Patel attended the fifth convocation ceremony of Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Chhatarpur, on Friday, on the occasion of Vasant Panchami. 

He was given a Guard of Honour at the venue. During the ceremony, the Governor awarded PhD degrees to 19 students, gold medals to 46 students, and degrees to around 200 students.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Patel urged students to continuously improve their knowledge and skills to face new opportunities and challenges in life. 

He said that degrees are not just certificates but a call to responsibility, and students should contribute to the nation through research, innovation, and hard work. He stressed the importance of truth, moral values, and environmental protection, calling them an integral part of Indian culture.

The Governor said education is not limited to schools and universities, but is also gained from family and society. He encouraged students to become job creators, not just job seekers, and praised the New Education Policy for giving a new direction to the country’s education system.

Forest and Environment Minister of State Dilip Ahirwar congratulated the students and said Madhya Pradesh is leading in implementing the New Education Policy. Other speakers highlighted discipline, confidence, social harmony, and the role of teachers in shaping a developed and self-reliant India.
