👉The 79th Home Guard and Civil Defence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Home Guard Line in Sagar. Chief Guest Vivek K.V., CEO Zila Panchayat, and Special Guest Additional SP Lokesh Sinha inspected the parade, followed by a march-past salute by five contingents. Disaster management equipment was also showcased.
The second session began at 3 PM with games like tug-of-war and musical chairs, along with cultural performances by school students who were later awarded shields.
IDD: Student Participates With Full Fervour
👉On International Disability Day, the Social Justice and Empowerment Department organised cultural and talent-based activities at the Government Higher Secondary School for the Visually and Hearing Impaired in Pandapura, Sagar. Students showcased inspiring performances through music, drama, dance, rangoli and mehndi competitions.
Chief Guest Deputy Collector Rajat Soni encouraged students to pursue their goals, while Joint Director Dr. D.S. Yadav shared details about available facilities. The event concluded with prize distribution for participating students.
