To commemorate the 350th martyrdom year of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a poster-making competition was organised under an enlightenment programme at the Government Arts and Commerce College

Students expressed Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s sacrifice and teachings through colours and creativity, illustrating his commitment to humanity and religious coexistence.

Participants depicted key moments from Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life, reflecting themes of courage, peace and spiritual freedom. Their artwork highlighted his efforts to protect human rights and uphold the dignity of diverse faiths.

Dr. Sandeep Sablok informed that a total of 45 students participated in various activities over the three-day programme, including essay writing, speech and poster competitions. He added that top-performing participants will be felicitated on December 10, during the event marking Human Rights Day.
