Sagar Watch News/ Exciting matches were witnessed on Friday during the 69th National School Games as several league encounters in the girls’ and boys’ categories were played at City Stadium and Khel Parisar Ground, drawing keen interest from players, officials, and spectators.
In the girls’ category at City Stadium,
Maharashtra registered a close 2–1 victory over Haryana. Vidya Bharati dominated the International Board with a 2–0 win, while Rajasthan edged past Kerala 2–1. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan defeated West Bengal 2–0, Telangana beat Chandigarh 2–0, and Tamil Nadu outplayed Jammu & Kashmir 2–0. In another match, Maharashtra defeated Vidya Bharati 2–0.
In the boys’ category at City Stadium,
Haryana defeated CBSE 2–0, while Maharashtra secured a 2–0 win against the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Andhra Pradesh won a closely fought contest against Madhya Pradesh 2–1.
Meanwhile, at the Khel Parisar Ground,
Gujarat defeated Assam 2–1 in the girls’ category. The Council for Indian School defeated Punjab 2–0. In boys’ matches, Telangana beat Vidya Bharati 2–0, and Rajasthan defeated Delhi 2–0.
