Sagar Watch News/ The district-level Asmita Athletics Competition was held today at the Sports Complex Ground, Sagar, witnessing enthusiastic participation from nearly 250 athletes in the under-14 and under-16 girls’ categories.
The event featured multiple track and field disciplines, including the 60m and 600m races, long jump, high jump, shot put, discus throw, and triathlon athletics, all conducted successfully.
Top performers from each category have now earned the opportunity to represent Sagar district in the upcoming National Athletics Championship.
During the closing ceremony, the chief guest, Sangeeta Tiwari, motivated the participants, urging them to achieve their goals through hard work, dedication, and consistent practice. She honoured all winners with certificates and medals.
