Sagar Watch News/ The five-day 69th State-Level Taekwondo School Sports Competition began with an inspiring message from Collector Sandeep G.R., who encouraged students to play with honesty and sportsmanship. He emphasized that in sports, no one truly loses—setbacks only reflect areas for improvement, while persistence leads to success.
Joint Director of Public Education, Mrityunjay Kumar, highlighted the growing importance of balancing academics with sports, saying the old belief that playing spoils the future has now changed. Today, education along with sports builds champions.
District Education Officer Arvind Jain welcomed participants and shared details of the event, scheduled from September 8–12, 2025, featuring boys’ and girls’ taekwondo matches in the 14 and 17-year categories. Around 375 participants from divisions including Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Rewa, Sagar, Ujjain, and the Tribal Welfare Department are competing.
