E-Kuber System, Payments,Faster
Sagar Watch/ The e-Kuber system is being implemented by Madhya Pradesh Government Finance Department from January 16, 2023, in all treasuries of the state.
District Senior Treasury Officer Deepak Jain said that after the implementation of this system as per the instructions of the government, payments to all the beneficiaries of the state and Sagar district will be done in their bank accounts faster.
The e-Kuber system will make eye matching easier. The chances of any kind of error happening will be equal to zero.
He told that at present the information about payment and receipt by the banks is given physically to the treasury. Which was sent to the Reserve Bank of India and Accountant General Gwalior.
With the introduction of the e-Kuber system, direct communication with the Reserve Bank will be possible and the problem of matching the data of financial transactions will be resolved.
Efforts are being made to prepare a user-friendly system by implementing cashless, paperless, contact- less and cashless financial practices by using technical innovations in the present IFMIS system, Said Shri Jain.
He informed that Sagar District Treasury has also successfully implemented Aadhaar-based payment in the last month, due to which a successful effort has been made to bring financial discipline by stopping double payment.
