SagarWatch@ Under the Aajeevika Mission project, women of self-help groups have made innovative use of Deepavali worship material from cow dung. On Thursday, the women presented the material to the collector Deepak Singh under the guidance of the project officer Harish Dubey. On this occasion, Amita Singh, the wife of the Collector, pay the amount of worship material and distribute sweets for the women.
Harish Dubey told that women of Anmana Patel, Bharti Patel, Lakshmi Patel, Genda Rani, Guddi Bai and Gayatri Prajapati from the collector, Deepak Singh and his family members of Sanmati Sankal Stree Sangathan, Siddhi Group, Saraswati Group, Vishwas Group and Special Group. The district panchayat CEO and his family handed over a plate of worship material used on Deepawali. Mr Dubey told that the price of the plate has been fixed for sale.
A total of 15 types of material are being provided in the plate of worship material. He has appealed to all the people to encourage women of Self Help Group to celebrate this Diwali with a plate of worship material.
