The Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister announced that the Government of India has extended the wheat stock limit till March 31, 2026. 

Traders can store up to 3,000 metric tons, retailers up to 10 metric tons, and chain retailers 10 metric tons per outlet, not exceeding 10 times the number of outlets. 

Processors can store up to 70% of their monthly installed capacity multiplied by the remaining months of 2025–26. Violators will face action under the Essential Commodities Act.

MP Transport Minister Distributes Forest Rights Papers

On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 353 forest rights papers were distributed in the entire Sagar district by the Revenue and Transport Minister of the state, MLA of Sagar, District President of BJP and District Collector in the entire Sagar district under the program organized by Madhya Pradesh government.

While addressing the public, the Revenue and Transport Minister said that it is not only the letter but his authority, which was handed over to him today. His confidence has also increased due to the grant of forest rights.

MP Urban Development & Housing Minister Attends Oath Ceremony

MP Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh on Saturday administered the oath to the newly formed city council officials at Bandari and Malathoun in the district. 

On this occasion, he said that the Congress's Kamal Nath government was the first government in the state that had stopped development work. In the swearing-in ceremony, he announced 46 crore rupees for development works to both the newly formed city councils.

State Quality In-Charge Inspects Districts 108 Ambulance Service

In today's special news of Sagar city, there was a surprise inspection of 108 ambulance service being operated in MP. The state-level quality in-charge of this service, Rizwan Azim, tested the condition and functioning of 108 ambulance vehicles operating in Raisen and Sagar. 

The investigation revealed a lack of maintenance of vehicles and a shortage of oxygen cylinders. There are currently 50 ambulances operating in Sagar district.

High Court Orders Full Day Working For District Courts

The High Court Jabalpur has issued an order on Saturday allowing the work to be done in the district courts for the whole day. According to Prosecution Public Relations Officer Saurabh Dimha, due to Covid-19, the District Court was running in two sessions as per the order issued earlier by Hon'ble High Court. 

Under which the Court of Sessions / Upper Sessions Court worked from 10:30 am to noon and the Judicial Magistrate's Court from 5:30 pm onwards. Now, according to the new order, the district courts will work all day but at the same time strictly following the guidelines related to the rescue of Covid-19.
