Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that 1.32 crore people in the state have already been screened and that the government is working in 'mission mode' to eliminate sickle cell disease.

• ओंकारेश्वर में हुआ राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम

  • खंडवा जिले के ओंकारेश्वर में विश्व सिकल सेल दिवस पर राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुआ। राष्ट्रपति ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर शुभारंभ किया और उत्कृष्ट कार्यकर्ताओं को सम्मानित किया।

• देश में 7 करोड़, एमपी में सवा करोड़ से अधिक स्क्रीनिंग

  • राष्ट्रीय मिशन के तहत देशभर में 7 करोड़ लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग पूरी हुई। मध्यप्रदेश में सवा करोड़ से अधिक लोगों की जांच कर जेनेटिक काउंसलिंग कार्ड वितरित किए गए।

• पीएम मोदी ने 2023 में शुरू किया था मिशन

  • प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शहडोल से राष्ट्रीय सिकल सेल एनीमिया उन्मूलन मिशन-2047 की शुरुआत की थी। इसका उद्देश्य रोग की पहचान, रोकथाम और उन्मूलन है।

• मध्यप्रदेश ने मिशन में बनाया रिकॉर्ड

  • मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 1.32 करोड़ लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग हो चुकी है। राज्य सिकल सेल जांच और जागरूकता अभियान में अग्रणी बना है।

• चार मोर्चों पर काम कर रही सरकार

  • राज्य सरकार स्क्रीनिंग, उपचार, जेनेटिक काउंसलिंग और जनजागरूकता पर एक साथ काम कर रही है। सिकल मित्र और एनसीसी कैडेट्स भी अभियान को गति दे रहे हैं।

• वैज्ञानिक और सामाजिक अध्ययन पर आधारित मिशन

  • मिशन स्वास्थ्य, जनजातीय कल्याण, जेनेटिक साइंस और डिजिटल मॉनिटरिंग को जोड़ता है। आईसीएमआर, एम्स और अन्य संस्थानों के अध्ययन इसके आधार बने हैं।

• रोगियों की देखभाल के लिए व्यापक व्यवस्था

  • गर्भवती महिलाओं, नवजात शिशुओं और प्रभावित लोगों के लिए जांच और उपचार सुविधाएं बढ़ाई गई हैं। दूरस्थ जनजातीय क्षेत्रों में मोबाइल मेडिकल यूनिट भी सक्रिय हैं।

• जागरूकता और जेनेटिक काउंसलिंग पर जोर

  • राष्ट्रपति ने विवाह पूर्व जेनेटिक काउंसलिंग, समय पर स्क्रीनिंग और निरंतर स्वास्थ्य देखभाल को रोग उन्मूलन के तीन सबसे महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ बताया।

• 2047 से पहले उन्मूलन का लक्ष्य

  • राष्ट्रपति ने विश्वास जताया कि राज्यों की सक्रिय भागीदारी और जनसहयोग से भारत 2047 से पहले ही सिकल सेल रोग के उन्मूलन के राष्ट्रीय लक्ष्य को हासिल कर सकता है।

विश्व सिकल सेल दिवस

विश्व सिकल सेल दिवस पर ओंकारेश्वर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने मध्यप्रदेश की उपलब्धियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग का लक्ष्य समय से पहले पूरा होना बड़ी सफलता है। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 1.32 करोड़ लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग हो चुकी है और सरकार सिकल सेल उन्मूलन के लिए मिशन मोड में कार्य कर रही है।
