Sagar Watch News/ The Ahirwar Mahasabha will take out a procession on Sunday, February 1st, on the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti.
The procession will start from Kajliwan Ground in the city, proceed to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Bhagwan Ganj to pay respects, and then pass through Radha Tiraha and Katra Gaurmurti before returning to Kajliwan Ground. People from the Ahirwar community across the district will participate in the procession.
On this occasion, the president of the Ahirwar community, Kashiram Ahirwar, said that for the past year, the Mahasabha has been spreading awareness in villages about ending social evils such as drug addiction and extravagant funeral feasts.
In the same vein, Mukesh Rohit said that the community opposes those mischievous elements who misuse the SC/ST Act to file false cases against upper-caste brothers.
