Sagar Watch News/ City Stadium witnessed a series of exciting matches in the girls’ category, where teams from different states displayed strong performances and secured convincing victories.

Singles: Rudashi (Maharashtra) defeated Pamida (Lakshadweep) 15–0, 15–1
Doubles: Khyati and Vidhi (Maharashtra) beat Naja and Pamida (Lakshadweep) 15–4, 15–0, entering the second round
CIS Council of Indian School defeated Goa 2–0
Singles: Harshika (CIS) overcame Deepun (Goa) 15–6, 15–3
Doubles: Aradhana and Jesnam (CIS) defeated Akanksha and Deepun (Goa) 17–15, 15–12
Rajasthan beat Andhra Pradesh 2–0 in the third match of the day
Punjab defeated Bihar in another girls’ category match at the sports complex, winning in straight games 15–12, 15–11, 15–0
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) defeated Uttarakhand in a girls’ category match played at PM Shri College, present Makaroniya
Officials and Opening Ceremony
The matches were officiated by referees Harshdeep Singh, Rakesh Chourasia, Fauzia Khan and Shivani Mahato
The tournament was formally inaugurated with the toss by Joint Director, Public Education, Sagar Division, Shri Satunjay Pratap Singh, District Education Officer Shri Arvind Jain, and Assistant Director Mrs. Manisha Alexander, who also played an exhibition game to encourage the players
The tournament continues to generate enthusiasm as teams compete fiercely for a place in the next rounds.
