Sagar Watch News/ The auspicious muhurat of the film “Mayra” was held today at a hotel in Sagar, with traditional lamp lighting and floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati.
The event marked a historic moment as it signalled the beginning of organised film production in Sagar under the banner of Aacharan Film Station.
Socialist leader Raghu Thakur lauded producers Sunil Jain and Nidhi Jain, calling the initiative Sagar’s first serious step into filmmaking.
He said while many artists from Sagar have made their mark in Mumbai, no film had so far been produced in Sagar itself.
This initiative, he noted, would provide a platform to Bundelkhand’s talent and place Sagar prominently on the cinematic map.
