Sagar Watch News/ November 6, 2025 —District Collector and Election Officer Sandeep GR has appealed to all voters of the district to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, which is currently underway across all eight assembly constituencies of the district.

• House-to-House Verification till December 4:
  Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door verification of voter lists till December 4, 2025, checking each voter’s name, address, age, and other details.

• Inclusion of New Voters:
  Families are urged to help BLOs add names of new members who will turn 18 years old by January 1, 2026, through Form-6.

• Identification and Data Verification:
  BLOs will carry official ID cards. Citizens are advised to verify their identity before sharing any information. If any family member has passed away or shifted residence, that information should also be given for necessary deletions.

• Draft and Final Publication Dates:
  The draft voter list will be published on December 9, 2025, with claims and objections open till January 8, 2026. The final list will be released on February 7, 2026.

Collector Sandeep GR emphasized that the campaign aims to ensure accuracy, transparency, and inclusiveness in the voter list so that every eligible citizen is included and ineligible entries are removed. He urged citizens to extend full cooperation to BLOs during the verification process to strengthen the integrity of the democratic process.
