E-Attendence Nabs Careless Teachers
👉District Education Officer Arvind Jain conducted surprise inspections across several government schools in Sagar block to enforce strict e-attendance and timely reporting.
At Government Girls Middle School (M.L.B. No. 02), all students of Classes 6–8 were found seated in a single room, prompting a show-cause notice to the in-charge headmistress.
At Bhainsanaka Middle School, the teacher attendance register was missing, leading to another notice. Two higher secondary schools were found functioning properly.
In the Banda block, inspections by Assistant Director M.K. Chadhar revealed large-scale absenteeism, including seven teachers and two guest teachers missing at Dhaboli Middle School, and five absent at Dhaboli High School, while Shahpur schools showed largely satisfactory operations.
RTO's Monitoring Seems Ineffective
👉An intensive vehicle-checking drive was conducted in Sagar city and Bamhorī Tiraaha, focusing on passenger and school transport. Authorities inspected permits, fitness, insurance, PUC, licences, first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency doors.
Two passenger buses over 15 years old (MP15PA0149, MP15PA0104) had their fitness and registration cancelled and were ordered to be scrapped. Three challans were issued, and ₹14,000was collected in penalties. Operators were warned to maintain all mandatory safety equipment and valid documents or face strict legal action.
Scout-Guide Jamboree
👉The 19th National Diamond Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides is being held in Lucknow from 23–29 November to mark the organisation’s 75th year, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating and President Droupadi Murmu concluding the event.
About 35,000 scouts, guides, dignitaries, and defence and police personnel are participating. From the Sagar division, 70 members will attend. Officials released the division’s mascot, honoured contributors, and conducted a preparatory camp from 19–21 November before the contingent departs on 21 November.
