Sagar Watch News/Bandri: The Ardhanarishwar Dham in Bandri is abuzz with spiritual fervour as the consecration ceremony for the idol of Lord Khatu Shyam Ji Maharaj commenced today. The main event, the installation of the idol in a newly built temple, is slated for Sunday.
The proceedings began with a 'Sahashtra Jaladhara Abhishek' (bathing with a thousand streams of water) of the Khatu Shyam idol, followed by its elaborate adornment and a procession through the town.
The consecration itself will take place in the newly constructed Khatu Shyam temple, which measures 11 feet in length, height, and width.
👉Spiritual Initiative:
* Idol Consecration: The main 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) of the Khatu Shyam idol will be held on Sunday in the specially built 11x11x11 feet temple at Ardhanarishwar Dham.
* Unique Shiv Idol: The Dham, run by Jitendra Maharaj, is already home to a remarkable 2.75-foot-tall idol of Lord Shankar (Shiva) that is uniquely positioned to be visible from water, land, and fire elements.
* Visionary Expansion: Jitendra Maharaj revealed ambitious plans for the future of the Dham, which already hosts a Gaushala (cow shelter). The expansion includes establishing a:
* Gurukul to promote Indian culture, values, and education.
* Orphanage.
* Towering Landmark: The Dham plans to install a massive 101-foot-tall statue of Lord Ardhanarishwar, which will be visible from a considerable distance.
* Central Philosophy: The entire work at Ardhanarishwar Dham will revolve around the guiding principle that humanity is the greatest religion.
* Upcoming Events:
A community feast (Bhandara) and a devotional evening (Bhajan Sandhya) are scheduled for November 3rd.
* Devotional Presence: Saints from Haryana are conducting discourses and sermons, with participation from devotees from Bandri and surrounding villages.
