Sagar Watch News/ Under the guidance of Collector Sandeep G.R., a large‐scale Employment, Self-Employment and Apprenticeship Fair was organised today at Sahodra Rai Government Polytechnic College, Sagar.
The event, held under the “Youth Sangam” initiative, was jointly conducted by the Employment Office Sagar, Divisional ITI Sagar and the District Trade & Industry Centre.
A total of 412 candidates from Sagar and neighbouring areas participated enthusiastically, out of which 253 candidates received preliminary selection from various reputed national and local companies.
The fair aimed to connect talented youth with employment opportunities and raise awareness about self-employment schemes.
Key Participating Companies included Tata Motors Sagar, Yazaki India Ahmedabad, Carrier Bridge Skill Solutions, LIC Sagar, Paytm, Shivshakti Agritech, Great Organic Diamond, My Lifestyle Marketing Global, Gail Institute of Skills Guna, L&T Construction, and several others.
Company representatives conducted on-site interviews and issued offer letters to the shortlisted applicants.
Major Highlights

Many youths received their first direct exposure to the corporate sector, which boosted their confidence and employment readiness.

Under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, 12 beneficiaries were sanctioned loans totalling ₹44.60 lakh, supporting youth entrepreneurship.

All participants took a pledge for de-addiction, encouraging healthy and productive lifestyles.

A Health & Wellness counselling session provided guidance on mental health, confidence-building, and interview skills.
The fair was efficiently coordinated by District Employment Officer Anguri Thakur, Divisional ITI Principal Pooja Tiwari, Polytechnic Principal Dr. Y.P.P. Singh, TPO Dr. Mayank Kumar Russia, and other key officials.
In the concluding session, company representatives formally handed offer letters to selected candidates, who thanked the district administration for creating meaningful opportunities towards youth empowerment and self-reliance.
