On the fifth day of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Siddh Kshetra Balaji Temple, Dharm Shri Ambedkar Ward, international spiritual orator Pt. Indresh Upadhyay Ji Maharaj delivered a deeply reflective discourse, centred on the principle that “excess of anything reduces life — thus balance is essential.”

His message, imbued with restraint and devotion, set the tone for the day’s spiritual gathering, hosted by Chief Yajman Anushree Shailendra Kumar Jain and MLA Shailendra Kumar Jain.

Highlighting the dangers of hoarding, Maharaj said that when accumulation increases, it is a sign of drifting away from God.

Conversely, when the mind inclines toward offering, charity, and service, “it indicates that the Lord is approaching our life.”

He emphasised that true knowledge leads to wisdom, silence and inner maturity, adding that “excessive talking and overeating both diminish lifespan.”

Using the example of Nand Baba’s unconditional generosity upon the arrival of infant Krishna, he explained that when God enters life, greed and worldly attachments naturally fall away.

He stressed that spiritual individuals value thoughts and sentiments over appearance or caste, and that one’s words and behaviour determine the direction of one’s life. “When a person rises in stature and loses simplicity, downfall begins,” he cautioned.

Recalling the divine glory of Vrindavan, Maharaj said it was created not by Brahma or Vishwakarma but by Kishori Ji herself. While explaining the significance of Gopashtami and Chappan Bhog, he asserted that the true protector is not Indra but Shri Gopal.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, joining via video conferencing, praised the event and remarked that “the stronger the roots of Sanatan culture, the more prosperous the society and the nation become.” He congratulated the organisers for successfully conducting the grand spiritual ceremony.

Devotees at the venue expressed that his bhajans and discourses fill the atmosphere with divine bliss, dispelling sorrow and despair.
