πMadhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is scheduled to visit Chhatarpur and Panna districts on November 19, 2025. He will inaugurate The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, a five-star luxury hotel in Chandranagar, Chhatarpur, aimed at boosting tourism.
In Shah Nagar, Panna, he will dedicate and lay foundation stones for 14 development projects worth ₹82.62 crore, including road upgrades and infrastructure works. The Rajgarh Palace’s revival highlights Bundelkhand’s rich heritage and tourism potential.
πA 24-year-old man from Bundelkhand, suffering for years due to excessive consumption of paan, gutkha, and tobacco, regained normal life after a successful surgery at Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar.
His mouth had been completely shut for five years, forcing him to survive on liquid food and face social isolation. Attempts at various treatments failed until Dr. Sweta Bhatnagar and her team at BMC performed a complex three-hour surgery.
Using fiber-optic intubation and reconstructive techniques like the nasolabial flap, they safely removed fibrotic bands. The patient can now speak and eat normally.
This rare success highlights BMC Sagar’s growing medical expertise and serves as a warning against long-term tobacco use, which can cause irreversible oral damage. The patient’s family expressed heartfelt gratitude, calling the recovery ‘a second life’.
π A joint team from the Agriculture and Revenue departments investigated Golden Farmer Organic Agriculture Pvt. Ltd., Makronia, Sagar, after farmers’ complaints.
The probe revealed that company operators were illegally selling PROM and JYM fertilizers without a license, with samples showing adulteration with stones.
Farmers from Chanaula and Ratanpura reported poor crop results despite spending lakhs. Fertilizer samples were sent for testing, and an FIR was lodged under the Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and the Essential Commodities Act.
πIn a noble gesture, the family of the late Shri Ratan Singh Kurmi donated his body for educational and training purposes to the Anatomy Department of Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar, on Tuesday.
The college administration honored him with a ‘Guard of Honor,’ fulfilling the family’s wish with dignity. Notably, Kurmi had registered for body donation on October 27, 2020, and the process was completed within 70 hours of his demise.
This first such donation under government directives is hailed as vital for future medical education.
