Sagar Watch News/ Dr. Dinesh Kumar Mishra, who resides in Tili Ward, Sagar, and serves as a Professor in the Pharmacy Department at Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, has brought pride to the city. He has been included in the list of the world’s top 2% scientists for the fourth time.
This list is prepared every year by Stanford University in America. It is based on the study of scientists’ research work, published papers, citations, and yearly contributions.
Dr. Mishra received this honor for his excellent research in pharmacy. His achievement has brought pride to Sagar and Guru Ghasidas University.
He is the son of retired revenue officer Shri J.P. Mishra and the younger brother of Shri Vinay Mishra.
Mahima of Chess
👉Mahima Lodhi, a bright student from Sagar, has been selected for the national-level chess competition. She is the only girl from the entire Sagar division to be selected, which is a big achievement.
Mahima studies at Sandipani School MLB-1. In the state-level chess competition held in Sehore, she scored 5.5 points out of 7 and got fourth place in the under-19 girls’ category.
In the final round, Mahima played against an international player from Indore and managed to draw the game, showing her strong skills.
Her coach, Shubham Pareta, said that she is now practicing 5–6 hours daily for the national event. Sagar Collector Sandeep G.R. started the “Mission Chess” program in schools, and this success is a result of that effort. He also congratulated Mahima for her success.
