Sagar Watch News: The road on which the police failed completely to organize the auto drivers is now being planned to be made a green corridor. Only time will tell how successful this plan will be. For now, this announcement seems to be just an initiative.
The Collector and Superintendent of Police inspected the city's traffic system today. They announced that the road from the District Hospital to Bundelkhand Medical College will be developed as a No-Parking Zone and Green Corridor to ensure that patients reach the hospital on time without any inconvenience.
The Collector instructed strict action and fines against those placing construction materials like sand and gravel on city roads. During the inspection, such materials were found on Tili Square–Medical Road, and the Municipal Deputy Commissioner was directed to seize them and impose penalties.
He emphasized that there should be no traffic issues on the District Hospital–Medical College Road and directed the SP to ensure immediate deployment of traffic police. He also ordered police presence and proper traffic arrangements in front of Dr. Harisingh Gaur Bus Stand.
Furthermore, he directed that autos and rickshaws should only park at designated spots, and bus stops built under the Smart City project should be properly managed. He also called for the quick repair of major city roads.
