Sagar Watch News/ Collector Mr. Sandeep G.R. conducted a surprise inspection at Government Primary School, Ramghat, Sagar, located in Sant Ravidas Ward.
During the visit, he interacted with students of classes IV and V and reviewed school timings and teacher attendance. Assistant teacher and acting principal Mohan Agrawal was found absent, while assistant teacher Pankaj Singh was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.
Following this, District Education Officer Arvind Jain suspended both teachers for negligence, low attendance, indiscipline, and violations of the MP Civil Services Conduct Rules.
The inspection also revealed issues like disorder in mid-day meal distribution, lack of textbook distribution, weak academic levels, and poor teacher control. Both teachers failed to respond to the show cause notice issued to them.
