National Youth Day-Person who moves from problem to solution is young

On the occasion of National Youth Day, an essay writing and elocution competition on the topic "Youth, Swami Vivekananda and today's society" was organized at TLC Bhawan by the National Service Scheme Unit operated by Dr Harisingh Gour University. The event was organized under the leadership of NSS coordinator Dr Sanjay Sharma.

Addressing the program, Dr Sanjay Sharma explained the importance of 'Youth' and Swami Vivekananda's thoughts in the present context. He said "It is necessary to choose a better personality to do better work" and "The person who moves from problem to solution is young".

Volunteers of the National Service Scheme were present during the programme. Along with this, Shivani, Farhana and Avinash who came for internship from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi also participated.

On the occasion of National Youth Day, another program was also organized in the Department of Sociology of the University.


Sagar / On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birthday and National Youth Day, a seminar was organized in the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Dr Harisingh Gour University, Sagar.

The youth group is a unique confluence of infinite energy and enthusiasm. With their curiosities and potential, youth always set the dimensions of creativity, said Prof. Diwakar Singh Rajput while presiding over the programme.

He said that Dr Harisingh Gaur and Swami Vivekananda are ideal personalities for all of us. In the program, Dr Shailendra Sakwar shared his experiences and gave academic messages to inspire the youth. 

Femina Christopher, Bharat Thakur and other students also presented their views in the programme. Dr Shiv Shankar Jena threw light on various aspects of Swami Vivekananda's philosophy of life. Dr Usha Rana conducted the stage and Dr Nandi Pataudia expressed gratitude.
