  As the spread of Corona infection cases is increasing rapidly in the district, the administration has become alert and come into action mode. First, 
after a fortnight, since the central government has given permission to open the gym across the country (from August 5), in the third phase of unlocking, It has awakened to find out the status of the gyms running in the city. Second, a day before it has released instruction to speed up the testing of Coronavirus in the city-connected areas of Narayavali assembly constituency, which is almost turned into a hotspot as the majority of the cases are coming out of these regions.

On Thursday, A meeting of private health club/gym operators was conducted, under the chairmanship of Additional Collector Akhilesh Jain in the collector premises to alleviate the spread the infection of Covid-19.

The district administration called all the gym operators in the city and warned that they would conduct surprise inspections and strict action would be taken against the gym operators who did not follow the guidelines set by the government.

On this occasion, the gym operators also assured to run the gym as per the guidelines issued by the government after seeing the strict attitude of the district administration. Mr Pradeep Abrida, District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer Sagar and all gym directors were present in the meeting.

According to the above guidelines to prevent infection of Kovid-19 in the Gym Training Center, paste it on the notice board or board of each gym centre and instructions are given by the gym operators to strictly follow the above guidelines. The direction is as follows.

1. The entry of players below 15 years of age will be prohibited.

2. It will be mandatory for the players to obtain the prescribed application form from the respective gym instructor. The admit card will be issued to the players by the concerned gym instructor.

3. The entry of the players other than the admit card issued by the gym instructor will be prohibited.

4. The entry of the players, come from a hot-spot zone, will be prohibited.

5. Training time will be allotted to the players by the gym instructor. The player must attend and receive training at the same time.

6. After the completion of training, it will be mandatory for the player to leave the gym premises immediately.

7. Before admission to the gym, the player should be given admission only after getting sanitized and temperature check.

8. It will be mandatory to bring face masks or face shield, the player will have to use gloves in the hands.

9. If a player has symptoms of cold and Cough, he will not be allowed to workout.

10. Entry will be given to a maximum of 15 players at a time. Players are selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

11. The player has to bring his own water bottle himself.

12. The player must compulsorily bring a major towel along with him, without towel entry will not be allowed.

13. If the administration decides to lockdown or closes the gym for any reason, then it will be mandatory for all the players to follow.

14. It is mandatory for each player to keep a distance of 6 feet from each other, for this the marking will be done by the gym instructor for the appropriate distance between the related equipment.

15. It will be mandatory to install Arogya Setu and Sarthak Light App.

16. It will be necessary to sanitize the player's arms and legs in the gym complex and it will also be mandatory that the player will bring his sports shoes separately and use it before starting the training.

17. The player will be required to bring his personal kit (playing kit, bottle, extra T-shirt, towel, sanitizer and necessary materials).

18. Spitting, snorting nose, touching unnecessarily will be prohibited during exercise in the gym complex.
