Sagar Watch News, January 21, 2026/
Amid reports of yellowing leaves and spot formation in wheat fields, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Sagar, has issued an advisory to farmers, attributing the problem to deficiencies of secondary and micronutrients.

According to KVK scientists, the symptoms—being widely observed across Sagar district and reported from other districts as well—are primarily caused by a lack of secondary nutrients such as sulphur and magnesium, and micronutrients including zinc, iron and manganese. Farmers have been advised to address the issue through timely foliar application of appropriate chemical fertilizers.

The advisory recommends using 150 litres of water per acre for spraying, preferably during morning or evening hours. If symptoms persist, a repeat spray after 10 days is advised. Farmers are also urged to closely observe crop symptoms to identify specific nutrient deficiencies.

In cases of severe or unclear symptoms, KVK, Sagar, has advised farmers to seek expert guidance from its scientists without delay.
