Speakers said India was once known as the “Golden Bird”, as indigenous thinking and local production formed the backbone of the economy.
With growing dominance of Western culture, efforts are now underway to re-establish Swadeshi values and strengthen India’s economic independence through domestic manufacturing and consumption.
The Swadeshi Sankalp Rath Yatra is being conducted under the leadership of CAIT National President Shri B.C. Bhartia, National General Secretary and MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal, and Swadeshi Jagran Manch National Co-Convener Shri Satish Kumar.
The yatra is spreading awareness
that India is steadily moving towards self-reliance, aligning with the Swadeshi vision championed by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Economic Self-Reliance is the Key to Growth
CAIT District President Shri Surendra Jain Malthaun stated that the American tariff war has clearly demonstrated that India’s growth and development are possible only through Swadeshi thinking and self-reliance. He added that adopting this approach would firmly place India on the path towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy.
CAIT State Vice President Shri Sanjay Agrawal said that through the Rath Yatra, citizens and school students will be encouraged to take a pledge to adopt and promote indigenous products.
Appeal for Public Participation
State Minister Shri Suresh Holani, State Executive Committee Members Shri Ajit Samaiya and Shri Shailesh Kesharwani appealed to the public to participate in large numbers and support the Swadeshi movement.

Senior Vice President and Rath Yatra In-Charge Shri Vijay Bhushan Verma and Co-In-Charge Shri Animesh Shah informed that:
The awareness rally will enter Sagar on December 18, 2025, at Makronia, where it will be welcomed by Naryawali MLA Shri Pradeep Lariya.
On December 19, 2025, at 10:00 am, the main rally will begin in Sagar in the presence of Sagar MLA Shri Shailendra Jain as Chief Guest, District BJP President Shri Shyam Tiwari and Municipal Corporation President Shri Vrindavan Ahirwar as Special Guests, and Municipal Commissioner Shri Rajkumar Khatri.
The rally will be formally flagged off by the MLA by showing the saffron flag.
Organisers said the Rath Yatra aims to ignite a mass movement for Swadeshi, encouraging citizens to adopt Indian products and contribute to a self-reliant and economically strong India.
