👉Sagar Division Commissioner Anil Suchari has suspended Assistant Engineer Amar Singh Adivasi of the Rural Engineering Service, posted at Janpad Panchayat Hatta, Damoh district

The officer allegedly issued technical approvals for 20 works beyond his jurisdiction. Despite being served a show-cause notice, he failed to appear for clarification. 

The inquiry found serious negligence, indiscipline, and misuse of authority in his actions. Consequently, Commissioner Suchari ordered his immediate suspension, effective today.

 Overseas Study Scholarship for OBC Students Issued

👉Bhopal: The Office of the Commissioner, Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Bhopal, has announced a revised notification for the selection of eligible candidates under the Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2025–26. 

The revision has been issued to fill 17 vacant seats under the scheme, as per the prescribed rules and provisions.

According to the updated notification, the last date for online applications is November 19, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Madhya Pradesh State Scholarship Portal 2.0 at

 Medical equipment Donated

👉The Indian Medical Association (IMA) President, Dr. Talha Saad, donated advanced medical equipment for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) to the ENT Department of Bundelkhand Government Medical College, Sagar

The tools will revolutionize sinus disease diagnosis and treatment through minimally invasive techniques. College Dean Dr. P.S. Thakur praised the initiative, calling it a boon for underprivileged patients.

Dr. Saad announced plans to donate essential equipment to other departments soon, enhancing healthcare access in the Bundelkhand region.

Purple Fair’ Promotes Dignity in Divyangjans  

👉Sagar — The “Purple Fair” was organized at Mahakavi Padmakar Auditorium by CRC Bhopal under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with Sagar District Administration

The event aimed to promote inclusion, self-reliance, and dignity among Divyangjans. Over 400 beneficiaries and 15 institutions participated, showcasing talent, crafts, and entrepreneurship. 

Free assistive devices were distributed, and cultural performances by Divyang participants mesmerized the audience.


‘SAANS’ Campaign to Curb Child Pneumonia Deaths

👉Sagar— On World Pneumonia Day, a seminar under the SAANS’ campaign  ("Social Awareness and Action to Neutralize Pneumonia Successfully) was inaugurated at District Hospital Sagar by Dr. Neena Gideon, Regional Director. 

Officials emphasized that pneumonia is a leading cause of death among children under five. The campaign, running from Nov 12, 2025, to Feb 28, 2026, focuses on early detection, vaccination, hygiene, and awareness. Health officers urged parents to ensure full immunization and timely treatment to prevent child deaths.
