Sagar Watch News/ Eye donation, known as the noblest form of donation, has restored vision to two individuals through successful corneal transplants at Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar.
Both beneficiaries, a 46-year-old farmer and a woman from Sagar, regained sight after years of blindness. The surgeries were made possible through donated corneas received from a local social worker’s family. BMC offers free corneal transplant facilities and encourages voluntary posthumous eye donation.
Illegal Structures Will Be Demolished-Nagar Nigam
Sagar — Municipal Commissioner and Smart City CEO Rajkumar Khatri on Saturday inspected a four-storey building near Dimple Petrol Pump and instructed the owner to use the premises strictly as per the approved building plan.
He noted that a parking space was converted into a shop, warning that such violations could lead to cancellation of the map approval. Khatri also supervised encroachment removal and reviewed progress on the Jhalkari Bai statue platform near Traffic Park.
