Dr. Harisingh Gour University offers 06 Bachelor of Technology (BTEC) courses namely Dairy Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Fashion and Apparel Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Electronics and Communication and Computer Science and Engineering.

The admission process in all these courses will be through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) counselling. There are 60-60 seats in each course. The Vice Chancellor of the University said that there was a demand for engineering courses in the University for a long time.

Six graduate courses have been started. All these courses are approved by AICTE and have been approved for further sessions also. All these courses will prove useful for the students from both skill development and employment point of view.

He said that courses with different specializations are very useful like Electronics and Communication Engineering course will provide employment opportunities in power plants, manufacturing, distribution, communication and telecommunication, computer applications, radio and television, equipment manufacturing industries.

Similarly, Computer Science and Engineering graduates can make their career in many fields like Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Ethical Hacking, Wireless Networks, Computer Manufacturing, Database Systems, Web Applications, Animation, Computer Graphics, Scientific Modeling, Computational Science, Video Games etc. 

Graduates of dairy engineering can work as consultants, managers, nutritionists and scientists. They may also work in quality control departments.

Similarly, by doing Aeronautical Engineering, one can work as Aviation and Avionics, Flight Mechanics, Engineer, Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Production Manager, Air Safety Officer etc.

Apart from becoming fashion engineers, graduates of fashion designing and apparel can work closely with fashion designers, clothing manufacturers and sellers, fashion merchandisers, creating new styles and designs of shoes and accessories.

Students, after graduating in Food Technology, can get service and employment opportunities in various sectors like restaurants, hotels, hospitals, food processing companies, soft drink manufacturing firms, grain-spice and rice mills, catering establishments, quality control organizations, packaging industries and food research laboratories.
