Nagar Nigam Will Spend 30 Lakh on the Dogs Sterlization

Sagar Watch News/ The budget of the Municipal Corporation for the financial year 2024-25 was presented. In the budget, income was Rs 6 billion 3 crore 66 lakh 65 thousand and expenditure was Rs 6 billion 3 crore 98 lakh 40 thousand, in which the deficit was Rs 31 lakh 75 thousand.

The Mayor said that various provisions have been made in the budget for city development and beautification and keeping in view the convenience of the citizens, no provision for any new tax has been made in the budget.

The Mayor said that under the Kayakalp 2.0 campaign in the budget, the Municipal Corporation will be included in the marginal

• An amount of Rs 30 crore for upgrading roads in various wards of the city,

• For the construction work of the commercial complex near the new RTO office, an amount of Rs. 54 crore action plan,

• For the construction of multi-lane parking located at Sabulal Market, Rs. 84 crore action plan,

• For the upgradation of the new market, an amount of Rs. 9 crores,

• Provision of funds has been made by preparing a DPR for the construction of a new market for the upgradation of Bakshikhana Market located in Katra Ward.

• Rs. for sterilization of dogs. A provision of Rs 30 lakh has been made in the budget. 

• The amount for the renovation work of Muktidham is Rs. 3 crores,

• The amount in the budget for necessary works is Rs. 100 million,

• For the construction of drains under disaster management, Rs. 15 crores,

•   The amount for improving the air quality of Sagar city is Rs. 100 million,

• An amount of approximately Rs. 1000 will be spent for installing poles, purchasing LED lights and other necessary materials for public lighting system. 11 crores,

• For increasing the height of the dam under Rajghat Dam Phase-2, in the first phase, Rs. 60 crores,

•   Under Project UDAY-6B, a target has been set to start water supply by completing the ongoing water improvement scheme this year.

•    For manufacturing women and men cosmetics in the city, Rs. 50 lakhs and

• Amount of Rs 40 lakh for construction of Sulabh Complex,

• For computerization and digitalization of the corporation office, Rs. 1 crore, for programs like sports festival, cultural program and Dussehra festival, Rs. 1 crore,

• This year too, Rs. 10,000 was spent to honor the meritorious students of the city with medals and Dr. Harisingh Gaur Award. 11 lakh,

• The amount for construction work in each ward from councilor fund is Rs. A provision of Rs 20 lakh has been made

In the budget session, the Municipal Commissioner said that whatever suggestions have been given by the councilors will be included in the budget as per the rules and keeping in view the public interest, all the necessary works in the wards will be completed on priority.
