SagarWatch@ Raghu Thakur, the patron of the democratic Samajwadi Party, said that the Smart City, instead of wasting money in the name of beautification, should be spent on basic development. Shri Thakur was discussing with reporters at his residence today.

Shri Thakur said that the Urban Administration Minister should issue clear instructions to all Smart Cities Limited that the money of smart city should be spent only on basic development, the first body is necessary and then beauty. Sagar Smart City has so far spent only on indicator boards.

He said that the decision to build elevated fly over corridor was taken by Urban Administration and Development Minister Bhupendra Singh Thakur with the objective of bringing back the bad traffic system of Sagar Nagar.
