Tehsildar-taking-one-crore-as-bribe-caught-red-handed

 

New Delhi. In Telangana state, Tehsildar E. Balaraju Nagaraju of Kisara has been caught red-handed by the Anti Corruption Bureau taking a bribe. The ACB raided the Tehsildar's house on Friday night.

Where he was caught, allegedly, taking a bribe of 1 crore 10 lakh rupees. According to the information, the tahsildar and tax officer had allegedly taken this bribe to the settlement of 28 acres of land in Rampalli.

The officers were also surprised to see so much bribe money. ACB is questioning 3 people in custody. Which includes Tehsildar Nagaraju, Real State Broker Srinath and Kannada Anji Reddy.

In this, besides the Tehsildar Nagaraju, the village revenue officer B Sairaj has also been taken into custody. It is learnt that Kisara is the divisional headquarters of Medchal Malkajgiri district. A new district was carved out of Hyderabad.

The ACB has used the machine to count notes. The accused's house was raided at AS Rao Nagar, a major commercial and residential area in Hyderabad. ACB sources say that this operation started on Friday night and will continue on Saturday as well.

CB officials have also detained middleman C Realnath dealer C Srinath and Kandadi Anji Reddy. All the accused are being interrogated. Most of the bribe money was in the  500 rupee notes.
