SagarWatch@ Sagar district has seen an unprecedented upswing of Covid-19 transmission in the ongoing month of august. Just a day before Corona cases crossed the 1000 mark in Sagar. It took only four Month and 13 days to touch this mark on its growth chart. The First Covid-19 Positive patient of Sagar district patient was detected on 10 April 2020.

So far the total number of patients in the district has gone up to 1019. After cure total, 747 patients has discharged and the death toll has gone up to 50.
On Monday, 17 suspects report has been found corona positive. This includes gold traders, army personnel and medical college staff. A woman resident of the same Bhagwan Gaja died of corona infection. Today 12 patients were discharged after getting healthy.

According to BMC doctor Sumit Rawat, two patient from Bina, four army corps from cant Hospital, two patient from Lajpat Pura and rest 9 patient has found from Dhana, Rampura of Sagar, Shaniachari, Moti Nagar, Chandra Shekhar Ward, Laxhmipura and Grocery merchants from bheetar bazaar.
