Social-Media-where-sensless-memes-overshadowes-real-issues

SagarWatch@ We are the partisans of change, yes! I will yell it at the peak of my voice, 1000 times, if required at the buzzing squares too. we, the people of India, have flaunted our "VIRTUAl- DEMOCRATIC (democracy on social web) " power and exploited it to the optimum. It's significantly a matter of mirth to learn that we are so explicit and bold to address our national issues which are in limelight, as it trends on twitter and other social webs.

when I am writing this, the number 1 trend on twitter is #maharastra ka cm napunsak hai... I certainly hold no right to tell you what is right and what is wrong. Do you see how aggressive and war-ready our media channels look like? They yawp and hammer that, we shall get the justice delivered to so and so. as it happened in the case of #JUSTICEFORSSR.

My honest confession! I salute our media houses for their relentless efforts in this case. And freshly they came with a gargantuan roar to support #kangnarnaut. I am truly happy to learn that acute democracy is being exercised (so what? if virtual). kudos! to all the Indian netizens.

I am Saudade (happy and sad at a time) here, why? because we are ready to bring justice to Kangna and Sushant, that's perfectly fine, but what about so many Sushant who are losing their lives either in the gigantic grip of intoxication and addictions? and what about those many Kangana who are selling/begging on the streets?

Put your hand on your chest and imagine one thing, are only trending issues important? Someone great quoted that charity begins from home, yes it begins at home but then goes around it.

Just imagine a picture of the country if we focus on the issues like #desalination_of_sea_water,  like we followed and persuaded  #rasode_me_kaun_tha. We know it's for fun but our concern is for these real issues are heaped under these senseless memes.

I am sure we would we able to get rid of one of the big problems like unavailability of drinking water, which is the intrinsic need of every house-hold.

When it comes to the economy of the nation, we start criticizing our government. I too hold them responsible for issues like economy but not completely, because I believe that any nation is built by its individuals(especially in a democracy).

In India 560 million people actively use the internet but only around 70 million are graduates. There are certainly more people on the internet than in the classrooms. And what are we teaching them, #BINOD, #RASODA, #mahrastra_ka_cm_napunsak_hai........ and so on...

I am not saying that all which is trending is wrong only, but just look at ourselves, are we trending right issues?. I never daunt to applaud the power of social media. But are we utilizing it constructively?

We can bring change if discuss and debate constructive things because we are what we think. The social web has become a platform where people can represent their talents and express their qualities to the world.

It has enhanced creativity. Without social media today the world comes to a standstill. It is the place where people can showcase their skills and it is easy to access to the world. Hence, it could be concluded that social media is destructive if used in the wrong way but can prove to be a boon to society if it is properly used.
